I have been a visitor on this website for more than a decade now. I still remember the pre-Web-2.0 times , before Flash , before Dhoom , before the Speed Runs , when this was just a forum for bikers looking for an escape from the less interesting aspects of life. This is my first post here. FINALLY got registered. I like the mechanical aspect of motorcycles , rather than touring. I like playing with them. I like exploring their limits, and often , in doing so , finding my own. Been a victim of a couple of nasty crashes , due to lack of safety gear. Learnt my lesson. I share an Apache RTR 180 with my elder brother. It's a nice bike for zipping around the city , and the occasional weekend run to the twisties. Mostly I ride my dad's trusty old 1996 Bajaj Super Excel. She's a reliable old girl. Quite annoying sometimes. Quite amusing on other times. Never fails to put a smile on my face. I have also been fortunate enough to ride some of the best motorcycles available in our country. Although , I must admit , nothing beats a two-stroke. My all-time dream bike is the 1st gen ZX10R.
