If you paid any attention to the thread title, you might have said HUH??
It's true that I'm not really a biker. However, I'm closely associated with the biking community in my state. I'm in electronics and am sometimes consulted by bikers on technical matters. More relevant perhaps is that I've done some work for the racing association of my state, the Mizoram MotorSports Association (MiMSA).
So far, I've designed and built from scratch a complete Christmas Tree system with staging sensors and foul detection, a winner detection system and circuit race countdown lights. These have been put to use by MiMSA for the past few years.
Living in one of the most remote corners of the country presents problems to someone in my line of work (which is also a hobby). Some of you may already be aware of the difficulty of dealing with Indian companies - big and small - from a distance. A far cry from their foreign counterparts. This is really what got me searching for a mature forum where I can ask for help.
I'm posting a thread in the "Help Me!" section asking for help in finding a source for a minor but vital tool.
