  • Hi Everyone, this is Ankit from Dehradun

    Hi guys,

I am Ankit Bangwal, living in Dehradun Uttarakhand. I'm 23 years old fresh out of college, and am working as a Software Engineer. Let me tell you about my love for Bikes. I think it comes from my father who is a civil engineer and loves bikes as well. When he was my age he bought himself a brand new Bajaj Chetak with his first salary. So being his only son I decided to follow his steps and started collecting money for a new bike as soon as I got my job. And I'm glad to tell that I have bought myself a Yamaha R15 V2.0.

I used to read reviews and stuff about bikes on Xbhp and after getting my new ride I thought of joining as a member. I have been riding bikes for about 7 years now. I have a hand me down 17 years old Hero Honda Splendor which belongs to my cousin, A Hero Honda Pleasure, and a Bajaj discover which I sold last year. And of course the shiny new R15. So I'm glad to be part of the team.

    Happy Riding.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

    Hi Ankit

    Welcome to xBhp

Congrats on your new motorcycle, even more so since you bought it with your own money.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

          Thanks dude,
Yeah my home town is really cool, with mussorie(queen of hill stations) just 30 Kms from my home and Haridwar and rishikesh about 60 Kms.
And the bike does handles corners very well...
          Happy Riding.

Welcome to the group here... astonishing that you have earned your ride. Be safe in the twisties around Dun a has great roads both sides of it however, the tourist shuffling between Delhi n Doon makes the roads smetime dangerous. Njoi riding to Mussorie and beyond.

                  ride safe and ride hard...
                  cheerzz...

Thank you for the kind concern sir,
Yes, the roads are indeed a bit dangerous, even more with the rains coming, and thousands of tourists visiting the queen of hills. I will be careful.
And it always feels nice to be appreciated for ones hard work.
Thank you for the appreciation. Makes me work even harder.
Hoping to buy a R6 with my own money in next 5 years.
