Hi good folks,
I'm Vishnu, a 25 something rider currently in Cincinnati. I am from Cochin, Kerala but my home's currently in Namma Bengaluru. I studied in Mumbai, and worked in New Delhi (Gurgaon) before coming over to Cincinnati.
Riding? Man its fun! My first bike was the RE Thunderbird, which I bought even before my riding skills were anywhere good. The RE TB 350 is the first bike I learnt to ride on. Pretty un-orthodox first-learners bike. But I was stung by the riding bug.
I came to Cincinnati in relation to work. The riding bug reared its head. I bought a user 1998 Yamaha V Star Crusier. Neat little machine! But too small for my 6'4" frame. Now I ride a 1991 Honda ST1100, and its the best bike I've ridden. Its as heavy as a buffalo, at slow speeds - but the weight disappears once its gets moving.
I'm a frequent member on the ST-Owners.com forum (Sport Touring forum) but I really wanted to join xbhp, since after all, you have one true motherland & motherlove.
Looking forward to connecting with riders when I get to Bangalore/Kerala this December 2014. Ride on, Ride Safe people!
