I am Nalin. I am basically from Punjab, but being a software engineer, I lead a nomadic life. And have been always on my toes, from one city to another and some countries too. Currently I am in Canada.
I have always been a passionate biker. My first bike was first generation pulsar 180. I have had some really memorable moments and great time with that bike. My user id on Xbhp is being taken from its registration plate, a tribute to her from me for never letting me down.
I had ridden it for 4 wonderful years of my college in Dehradun. I remember how we (me, my bike and my friends) used to go to Haridwar or Hrishikesh at late nights just for a drive and cup of tea and smoke. I have been on some amazing road trips right from dehradun-punjab, dehradun-delhi, dehradun-shimla,Dhanoulti, Missourie, haridwar, hrishikesh to Chennai-pondicherry, banglore etc etc, list is endless. Then I had to give it away
after college since I was relocated to Chennai and some sources informed me that I cant use Punjab registration vehicle in Tamil Nadu. But I was so impressed and satisfied with reliability and performance of Pulsar that I again bought another one, 150 dtsi, 3rd generation pulsar in Chennai. But it was a big letdown
as I was not as happy with this bike as I was with first generation pulsar but ultimately I had to give it also away as I travelled abroad for a long span of time. And since then, I am without any set of wheels. The last time I came to India, I saw Yamaha R15 and fell in love with it. I was about to buy it but again duty called and here I am in Canada. Infact, first time I visited xbhp forum was when I was googling about Yamaha R15 and found first impression shots of R15 on xbhp, which were well taken and impressive. Since then, I am regular reader of this forum and last night decided to register and be part of this wonderful community.

Well, that being said, I will be returning soon and will be buying a new set of wheels and try to contribute more to this community, rather than just reading the forums and enjoying wonderful stories and road trips shared by all the fellow xbhpians.
Be good and ride safe,
Nalin.
