  • Hello Everyone...Chinna Rao

    Hello everyone,
This is Chinna Rao from Vizag, Andhra Pradesh
I work in Bharuch,Gujarat and have bought my first bike a Pulsar 200NS here in April 2013.

I had done a few solo trips(Saputara,Somnath via Bhavnagar) within Gujarat in the first year itself..

The second year I decided to up the limit and rode solo all the way home from Bharuch till Vizag...covered 1800kms in ~44hrs
Had the worst butt ache in my whole life...But my ride did not let me down in any other aspect.

The route I followed was Bharuch-Surat-Mumabi-Pune-Solapur-Hyderabad-Vijayawada-Rajahmundry-Vizag

I did not take many pics as I was fully geared and could not bother to open my camera at every scenic location
The few pics(outside Rajahmundry) I took from with my Nexus 5 are below

My bike is approaching its 3rd year and I plan to upgrade to a cruiser next.
Just riding my bicycle in Gujarat as of now as I couldnt bring my P200NS back with me.

I have shortlisted the just launched(in EU,US) Kawasaki Vulcan S ABS and just have to wait for it to launch India.

I do not like the finish quality on the HD street 750 and the lack of ABS. Instrument console is pathetic IMO.

PS I was a lurker till now and this is my first real post...

                Welcome to the brotherhood.
If I may say, That solo ride must have taken a lot of courage and dedication. Hats off.
May you get your cruiser soon.
                Ride safe.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

                      Hi there...
The app I used is Google's My Tracks

                      Get it here https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...mytracks&hl=en

It is a battery hog and I recommend that you use it only if you have a reliable power source during your journey

Ok, thanks; all I wanted to know about the app that's all. I know most of these s/w drain the battery in flat 2-3 hours even with the most powerful battery source & yes, a constant 12V power supply will be the only solution (or a solar charger)
