My name is Vishal and I joined the forum a few weeks ago. So When I was 17 I decided to move to US for education, I did not know how to drive a car or ride a motorcycle yet. So about in 2011 I decided to get myself a motorcycle for which I needed a Motorcycle lisence. So, In the US to getting a motorcycle lisence is a bit of work. it requires you to go through a 16 hour course from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and then pass a written as well a ridden test. [ I today realize how IMPORTANT this course was in changing my perception about driving, They should make it mandatory in India too! ] Basic RiderCourse
My first bike was a CBR 250! bought it BRAND NEW for about 5000$ including one year insurance. Man i LOVED that thing!. Had awesome times as well as stupid times like when I thought i was adjusting the front forks but ended up releasing the spring and spilling all the oil ....-_____-" but the good times as well when I would EASILY over take 600's and 1000's on turns and twistys and would easily keep up with them [except for when we hit a straight road:P] I would top out at 90MPH while they would be at 150 ! !
Here is that beauty:
yeah you see these two silver things? i opened those out of sheer stupidity :P]

GET COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE, i didnt so i got 0$ in insurance claim. and also dont keep any hope if these bikes being found again . hours after theft they get broken down into pieces and sent to wither latin america or india or so on. :/
