Hello from Bangladesh
Hi everyone this is Maroof from Bangladesh. I was referred to Xbhp by one of my dearest brothers from Kolkata. As my nickname suggests, I am basically a bicycle enthusiast, but besides that I am a huge fan of motorbikes too. Here in my country traffic conditions are still not much organized, so I choose bicycle as my daily ride as its eco-friendly, and motorbike as a secondary rides for tours, site seeing etc. I am yet to buy my first motorbike, doing research and reading reviews on what to choose. In my country the legal displacement limit is 150cc only. Although it is very low, but I think it is good because riders are typically young and crazy here, there are still lack of awareness regarding safety gears and safe riding. You give a 300cc bike to a young guy, it very unlikely that he will ride safely. That is all about it for now. I am willing to learn a lot from this forum. Thanks.2014 Hero Glamour - 9 BHP

Re: Hello from Bangladesh
Hi Maroof
Welcome to xBhp
I am a cycling enthusiast as well, along with riding motorcycles!!!
150cc is decent for cities and can easily get the job done. Like a quote i read somewhere on the internet - "You 'need' just 8 bhp to travel the world, the rest is wheelspin"!Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Got myself the first ever bike. Thanks XBHP
I do not know if a New Bike thread is allowed or not. I was researching about getting my first bike for many a months and Finally I had to get this, the Hero Glamour. Motorbike prices in Bangladesh are absolutely crazy, this cost me 1,57,000 BDT, almost 3 times the price in India! Besides, as per the government rule, the vehicle registration charge is 24,000 BDT. I have never ridden a bike before, so I am basically learning the art of biking with this. I am thankful to everyone at Xbhp who helped with suggestions and ideas. Here are some pictures I took this morning.

Re: Hello from Bangladesh
Congrats on your new motorcycle Mr. Tramp. I would normally merge this into the ownership thread, but since you have paid superbike prices for your bike in Bangladesh, i merged it here.
Hope you will enjoy your motorized transport as much as you enjoy the 0bhp wonders
