Re: Hello all. 2Stroker from Bangalore.

Here is story about my love on 2stokes. My passion didn't start from watching an RD350s or yezdis or other power bursting 2stroke racings. My brother bought Suzuki samurai at the year 2000 (I was just 16 at that time) and that was the first two wheeler purchase in our home. My brother always compares that innocent samurai with RX100 in terms of pickup and he loves riding only two strokes. I never realized I have created so much love to this machine until I moved to bangalore after getting my job. I use to travel on company cab to office every day and at least I will get to see 2-3 wheelies on yamaha once every week during that travel time. Then I decided to search for a decent RX but ended up buying a completely slaughtered one . The guy who owned the bike before me converted that 100 in to an 135 except for the bore/carburetor/crankshaft. After doing little service rode the bike for 3 months, then the time came I took the bike to Chennai on road. Yipee my first road trip which is eventually a 350km ride. Completed all the restoration in a time frame of 3 months and did the run-in period there itself (my bro) and brought the bike back to bangalore ( I had my goose bump moments). My house owner was like is this the same bike which you was using earlier?? .

I did some minor upgrades like quick throttle and some alterations on the core/muffler to get a smooth and sharp beat as claimed by a welding guy opp to EA mall., winded the coil for better current output and installed DCM toyota headlight with halogen 35/35W. That's all folks. Will post some pictures of my ride soon.

Welcome to the band Ruben. Wish you a very safe and pleasant experience both on the forum and your bike. That is one very neat restoration I own a Suzuki Samurai that has recently been rebored and completed the Run-in. Cheers
