  • Newbie in riding..restored father's pulsar 150 dts-i UG2. Just wanted to say hello.

    Hello everyone.... I am
sayantan...19 years old...from Kolkata... I am an avid lover of two wheelers since my childhood...be it any two wheelers....used to sleep with toy superbikes till I was 16...rode bicycles till last month... My family is very conservative regarding riding bikes since my mother is a nurse by profession..so too much two wheeler fatalities have induced fear inside her...still my father being a rider himself...I got the slightest of chance of riding a bike...bikes have been my passion..I feel for every two wheelers out there on the road and feel connected to them...I feel they are alive....but never got the chance to ride one for my parents..until when my father bought a new Honda CB trigger..I dared to ask for riding lessons in the old pulsar...the pulsar was a second hand and it was a tired bike with problems in every inch..still revving it for the first time had my heart for it...my father intended to sell it for mere few bucks..but I refused...after my first college semester I asked my father for a restoration and to god's grace he agreed..and I finally restored it....got the engine running smooth, clutch fixed, new fairings, new exhaust and few more stuffs....I know its not a powerful bike..but still its a machine which was enough to fall in love with... I followed xbhp and youtube till now and got so fascinated with other bikes and stories of the riders...finally I can share my feelings too..it makes me so happy...I am still learning to ride....and I expect lot more adventure, emotions, thrill to come..looking forward to every rider here...cheers....feeling of a newborn biker

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
