  • Hello dear riders

Hello to fellow riders and readers.

My name is Sivaram, working and living in Bangalore for the last 9 years. I have been an avid and regular visitor to this awesome place for quite sometime now.

As my handle suggest - I silently ramble to myself on my rides (which have not happened in the last many years due to work and family commitments. )

I have done hundreds of rides from Ooty, Tamil Nadu (my hometown) to Coimbatore (nearest city, approx 100kms away), for office related work. And also accompanied friends when they have business/office work in Coimbatore. I have done these rides in peak winter, at grave yard times. (November/December and at 1am/2am) and also during summer times and rainy times aswell.

My rides were - daddy dearest's LML Vespa scooter and my friend's TVS Victor bike ( I have done more miles than my friend in his bike ). My fastest time from Coimbatore to Ooty was 2 hours flat on LML Vespa, sometime in 2001!!! (People who know the route, will understand what the roads were at that time )

I hope to do some rides with my colleagues from office, who are warming up to rides rather than drives.

I am happy and thankful to admins for grating me access and also for the opportunity to participate in this forum.

    Thanks,
    Sivaram

        Thank you Monk.

        Thank you itsmevini123.

I currently ride Honda Unicorn 150. Excellent and smooth engine, bad rear suspension though.

        Thanks,

            Hi Siva,

Welcome to the club brother. Good to have you here at xbhp.

            Ride safe,

Do get the rear suspension checked out soon. You dont want to mess-up things physically while you drive. Take care.

              Thank you Krishna77 & TheArcher84.

Yes. suspension is checked already and is set to soft. For a single rider, some potholes hit your back.
When riding with a pillion, the suspension is just like riding/gliding on air. :-)
