Welcome Raoul, great to see another rider from Delhi joining in. Hope to see you soon in future G2Gs.
I'd rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.
Ride often, ride well, have fun.

          Hi Raoul,

Which liter class bikes are you considering?

I am thinking between the new Yamaha R1 with the cross plane crank shaft, it has got really nice reviews & the recently launched Honda CBR 1000RR with ABS. I think i am leaning more towards the Fireblade because it has the ABS which will provide a lot of safety considering the indian roads & the situations you get to face here. And can you guys tell me the finance schemes one can get on these bikes, i want to buy it from the showroom, not the import dealer, don't want any DRI trouble. The schemes i found where with a lot of interest like 14.5%, i would really appreciate it if you tell me about some better deals.

              Keep Riding
              Enjoy

From what I have seen, the fireblade is a really good option. Also, too many R1's already on the road! For finance, talk to your bank or Honda.. I think they will have finalized with some finance company to tie-up funding for their prospects.
