PS: I also want to upgrade my ride to a Yamaha R3 as I feel my FZ-S is not adequate. Is it too big a leap from a 150cc bike?

New rider
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and touring. I live in Chennai. I ride a Yamaha FZ-S mainly for commute but recently got interested in touring. I'm kinda old....in my early 30s but only now have gotten the itch! Haven't gone more than 120 kms at a stretch but want to start riding longer....baby steps! Nice to meet you all.

Re: New rider
Hi
Welcome to xBhp
No, the R3 isn't a big step from a FZ. But do start riding long distances on the bike you are familiar with, you can a few months down the line upgrade.
All the best
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
