  • New Rider on X-BHP road

Hi folks I am PriYam from Calcutta.Currently staying in Pune city because of my employment.
The 2wheeler buddy that I have is Honda Dio,I call her my cHamp and I have been enjoying the company for last 4years.
Its fun riding a non-gear machine.Especially when its comes to play with my buddy I find it amazing. The reliability and attachment has had assured me so far for so many solo and group rides.
And after joining the xbhp family I am sure I can learn and know new things which will keep my buddy fit and fine.
    Thanks

          Hi Priyam,

          welcome to xBhp,

Q : Hello folks I currently own a white honda dio.But I want to change the color. So many options in internet is confusing me.Do I need to take a written permission from RTO to make the changes or I can just get it done and then inform in RTO to do the necessary changes in the smart card.

Ans : The best option to change the color is wrapping. it is a high quality sticker that is applied to the vehicle. It leaves no residue when removing and protects paints underneath. Not sure if you need to make changes to smart card as it is not changing the paint. senior members can throw some more light on this.

          2. Hi x-bhpians I currently own a honda dio.where I have the handlebar modified.I know it is illegal on indian roads but isn't there any legal ways of getting the same done.I mean if a person wearing cap or not doesn't identify him so as in bikes.
Ans : any modification becomes illegal only if hinders the proper functioning of the vehicle in any way or may cause harm to the rider or other people in any way. If all the basic functions like indicator switch, horn, low bean, high beam etc work normally, it is legal.

          hope this helps.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.
