I'm Naveen from Chennai.
I will tell a small story about my struggle for biking.
It was my teenage when I asked my dad for short spin on his HH passion.
His reply was, "you can ride it when you become 18".
Years went and then I asked him again when I was 18 with a whole lot of excitement.
His reply gave me frustration and anger. He told me that bikes are not safe and I can straight away get promoted to cars when the right time comes.
I cannot do much since he is not only my dad but also a strict police officer.

Years went again and I was 23 with a job which gave me another name called software developer.

After 6 months of my job, I got my confirmation and you all could guess the very first thing that I could have done.
Yes, I went to my data and told him that I am going to book a bike and it is a Yamaha.
Yes, you are right. He is not going to say ok for that, but I went ahead and booked my first beauty "Yamaha Fazer - Black cyber green".
My dad wasn't speaking to me for about a week, but later he came back to normal.
Then came the most awesome day, the day for the delivery of my back.
My dad didn't let me drive my bike when I got it delivered. Instead, he gave his bike to me and he rode my baby from the showroom to my house.
I had to wait for a day to sit on my baby and enjoy the ride. Till then, I was clicking pictures of my baby.
The sun came out next day morning and we were getting ready for the pooja for my bike at a temple (the Indian touch :P).
We went to the temple and did a pooja for my bike. I got the key from my dad and started a small spin on my fazzy.
Oh man, I couldn't find words to explain how I felt
. After waiting for so many years to have a bike of my own.It all started in October 2011 and here I am now in October 2016.
My dad used to have this sentiment to let me ride my bike only after the pooja and did the same for my second bike(black Pulsar 200ns) too.
I have never done a touring on my bike, but my dream is to do a tour on my bike.
I use to ask my friends and colleagues to a tour, but I never got a company to do so.
I am a bit hesitant to do a solo ride because I am little bit nervous to do a solo on my first long ride .
Hopefully, my dream will come true through xbhp.
I always use to read travelogues in xbhp and wonder whether will I do travels like these.
P.S : Please bear with any mistakes in my post since this is my first time in xbhp or any other biker's forum.
