It is my bad that I haven't posted anything since i have joined xbhp way back in 2009 (indeed a very long time) Sorry brothers for not keeping myself in touch with this group. I actually shocked to see that i am still a sleepy member since 2009. Thanks to xbhp mobile app for waking me up.
Let me give you all my introduction. I am Kapil and m basically from Delhi. I am a banker by force (thought i would earn lot of money because bank has [emoji13][emoji13][emoji13] but it is not actually like that) but a biker by heart.
It all started with a Bajaj Pulsar (first bike) at my home in 2004. My father gifted to my elder brother actually. Then, I was studying in 12th std and i was so curious to ride that bike since we did not have any bike except my father's LML T5 scooter. I used to take ride without knowing anyone in the morning when everyone was sleeping ..later i had to face the consequences..[emoji23][emoji23]
Later, The time came when I joined college. I did apply for DL and demanded a good bike since I had to commute to college which was hardly 1 km from my home. My father bought me a fuel efficient bike > HH Passion plus in 2005 which i did not like. Taking passion to the college was not my choice. I cried so many times and gave excuses that she is not giving proper mileage. It lasted for a year and one fine day i showed HH karizma pic which was there in a magazine to my elder brother and suddenly he took me to daddy's room. I thought he would complain but something different came out. I was happy to see that He asked daddy to buy me Karizma in exchange with Passion. then daddy asked me about the price and i said somewhere around 75K. My daddy was not really happy with the offer and asked me to go to sleep and told me not to come again for such type of things.
Don't know what happened to my daddy on 23rd Sep 2006. I really thank god for the day. Suddenly daddy asked me to visit any HH showroom near to my house and get him a karizma quotation includes passion exchange price. I went to the HH showroom which is next to Saya automobiles at just opp to Hans cinema Mahendru eclave (Delhi) and enquired every thing and the deal was worked out because i happened to sell my passion for Rs. 30000. I called my brother and dad . They came and paid rest of the amount which was 46k (karizma costed me 76k). Yeah finally i got HH Karizma yellow in color. I always wanted to buy that bike since it was launched. I was on cloud 9 that day.
Then i moved to Bangalore for my further studies for 2 years in 2009. Those 2 years were hell for my bike because no one put hands on it. Later, i got my job and posted at Hyderabad in 2011. Again, the bike was lying at home in Delhi . She was dying slowly slowly. Later, i couriered Karizma to hyderabad for Rs. 4500. I used it there but after some month the engine got chocked . Mechanic told me that i need to invest almost 15k on the engine. I thought its better to buy new bike instead of investing huge amount on old bike ( a good decision though). Then i bought Karima R model there at Hyderabad only. There was a time when i used to ride 2 karizmas at same time .
Ahaa!!! My love story..!! The best part is here... There was a girl in Mumbai whom i used to love her(one sided love actually).. one day i was Drunk and talking to her over call. She insisted me to come to Mumbai and meet her. I did not take a minute and getting ready to go to Mumbai via my Karizma R. But my roommates stopped me because it was already late in the night and drunk too. But very next day in the morning at 10:30 AM (i got up late because of hangover [emoji12][emoji51]) , i started for Mumbai from Hyderabad on my Karizma R and reached Mumbai at 12:30 AM . It was approx 800 Km one way. I met her in the morning and again I started to Hyderabad in th evening. This was the best ride i have ever done in my lifetime and little scary too (at Pune lonavala road in the night).
Later, i sold my older Karizma for Rs. 6000 only because of bad condition that was really very cheap.. Suddenly, one fine day i thought of changing my bike and buy a new and upgraded bike. Later, i sold karizma R via OLX . I was short of Rs. 10000 which i took hand loan from my friend and i bought a new KTM 390 in January 2015. Ofcourse karizma was a very beautiful bike with excellent handling and ride quality though i was not happy with the parts quality. I loved [emoji173]️ that bike.
390 was a new entrant in my garrage. I was very happy to have a 390 cc bike with me . It was really amazing to ride , loved the throttle response, my first ABS version bike. She was there with me for very short of time because i had to leave Hyderabad and going back to Delhi (Hometown) i was really very happy [emoji5]️ to go back. I sold my KTM 390 . I was with no bike commuting via buses . Suddenly, everything went in vein. My transfer got stopped and i had to buy CBR250R in 2015. I enjoyed my remaining days with CBR. Again the plan came for transfer.!!
Now i am in Delhi (got transferred in feb 2016) , staying happily married (married in 2016) and of course brought my CBR250R to Delhi..!!!
I know it was really big introduction of mine.I could not stop myself to write this long introduction. I was too excited for this.. Thanks for bearing with me.!!
I am actually searching for a motorcycle group in delhi who goes for sunday ride.! If anyone has the contact or having any such group . Pls do let me know.
