  • Hello brothers & sisters!

I am thebady_ (Instagram) a great admirer of Royal Enfield, I've done the #southindianroadtrip (Jan2017) along with a buddy who came only till Pondicherry. After that solo till home that is Visakhapatnam. The trip was on a Classic 350 mint blue. And it was for 10 days of 3869 kilometers. We had few days of rest at Pondicherry and Kollam (Kerala) my destination .

This craze and this urge to travel started in Kollam itself when I first visited the place back in Dec of 2015, I saw a few buddies riding enfields on the streets with loud exhausts. Which was really intriguing, so I made a promise to myself I would some day own one and visit the place where it all started.

I bought a classic 350 mint blue in June of 2016.

It took a while to plan (1 year.) and I had to research a bit. The route was finalized and we set out on the adventure on 10th Jan started from Visakhapatnam to rajamundry then Vijayawada and so on.
After we crossed the Andhra Pradesh border it was sureal all the way the greenery the villages and mostly the attention was amazing. We enjoyed every kilometer with so much excitement and great fun. The food was always at cafe coffee Day till Chennai but after Chennai we had to find another food chain. Then when we reached Pondicherry my friend (Naren) had to head back home which was a bit sorrow. We had super fun in Pondicherry and I continued onto my journey to reach Kollam. Those nights and days of long rides changed me so much as a person. That journey made me realise what life is all about.
After reaching Kollam I went straight to my favourite restaurant Red Bubble Café in college junction. Had a vegan night (pure black coffee with a little cream) & called up my dad and said "Dad I made it. I reached Kollam, my dream is fulfilled " I heard him take a deep breath and say "congratulations and well done." That sense of achievement is next to nothing in this world to me.
Stayed for 3 days and started heading back home via Thiruvananthapuram & Tirupati but there was this strange sense of leaving something behind as I was getting near my home. The trip was over but my heart still lingered at all the palaces I stopped for a quick selfie, the places which mesmerized with such beauty it was a crazy experience.
Had it not been for my father, mother and few of my friends who have been motivating me and helping me in anyway they have. This wouldn't have been possible at all.

So this is me a rider at heart, An adventure junkie and my friend who is always with me is my bike.
Many more recently rides to come.
