    from France with a himmie

    Hi every rider .
    my last bike is a " himmie" so to say a RE himalayan. I wish I will ride it all around the black sea ( eastern EU and some caucasian countries ) .
    This will be my second very big ride : the first took place in 80 from Algeria to Tanzania with a 500 XT Yamaha .
    Yes I am now an old timer rider .
    Over 500 000 k now .
    Hope to learn a lot here and participate in a way , my own one, at the big indian community as my grand dad was Varuna and my grand mom Sanassy .

        I'm surprised that you chose an Indian ride when a lot more options are available where you live.
        Any special reason for choosing the Himmie?


        Anyways, may you have many many happy and safe miles on your bike and All the very best for your ride.

            About the bike ?
            It is exactly the right one for this major trip I had planned , maybe a 500 or more cylinder will help .
            Here in EU sure you can find a lor of bikes , but for this adventure kind , not so many really . or awfully expensive , like the heavy GS, even the 800 . Ot he ktm 690, wonderful on trails but twuce the price at least
            For harder trails and shorter trips I have a 500 SWM , much more an enduro bike .
            NO more commuter
            NO more hypersport ones
