    Hello!

Name's Aditya. Learnt how to ride in the mountains. Got my first bike there (1999), and then went ahead to crash it in spectacular fashion within a couple of years. Spent a few months in the hospital, came out with a cast and decided to get on to a CBZ while it still adorned my leg (most of us are young and stupid; at least that's my excuse). Shifted to Bombay (yes I prefer calling it that) and got a RE Thunderbird. Enjoyed riding every bit.

Shifted to the NCR and the heat + dust + spitting + aggression deflated my joy for riding (plus the clatter from the bike was doing me no service). Would take the bike out 2-3 times a year and that's that.

Cut to this year when I was covering the SJOBA rally and figured "why don't I get maybe a beginner level enthu bike and see if I can get back to riding?"

Got a KTM Duke 390 at the very start of the summer. Got all the gear I could figure and happy to say, the motorcycle has been taken out on a regular basis even through the merciless heat. Done 2500Kms or so, and looks like winters could be a whole lot of fun.

Not an enthu-cutlet city racer, not into iron butt challenges and definitely not into group rides that're scheduled and run with German efficinecy and lack of humor.

Give me another couple of bikers filled with a sense of curosity, wonder, chilled out vibes and love for corners. Oh, and someone teach me how to pop a wheelie? It's on my bucket list and I can't afford to lose any more skin from my elbows
