  • Hey all new member from mumbai

Hello and greetings to all Xbhpians.

I am Zain Sayed from Mumbai, automobile engineer (following my passion), 23 years old and currently working as an engineer, DUH.

I have a Benelli 302R (aka GINA) as my first bike (got into biking this late because of parent's fear of motorcycles) and another Honda Hornet (aka HORNY) as a commuter. Between the two I have completed over 20000kms in under last 9 months.

Being an engineer I love to open up machines i.e my bikes and cars. I have loads of theoretical knowledge but experience matters way more than textbook knowledge, which I found out after changing 2 brake pads, cleaning the carb in the Hornet and "attempting" a clutch change (had to take it to the shop after realising I don't have the necessary tools). how else will I learn eh?

Just FYI I am investing majorly in toolboxes bike stands and so on so that I can carry out maintenance jobs by myself since I enjoy that a lot.

I will be sharing my knowledge and experiences as and when I get them here on the forum but more importantly will be learning from all the way more experienced riders who have years of experience and various important information as well as tips and tricks.

Will be posting bike stories soon.
