  • Hey All! New rider from Navi Mumbai

Hello, and greetings to all fellow xBhpians

I am Adhokshaj Mishra, from Navi Mumbai, working as a cyber sec guy (cyber sec and system level things interest me) in Mumbai.

I started riding from a small commuter (Bajaj Discover 150S), which was my first bike as well (because no money for better bikes, and parents were totally against motorcycles in general). Made multiple trips on that motorcycle (obviously parents don't know any of it): Rajasthan (Jaipur, Bharatpur, Dausa, Mehandipur, Ranthambore), Punjab (Amritsar, Phagwara, Jalandhar), Chandigarh [all from Delhi], UP (Agra, Mathura, Vrindavan, Allahabad, Varanasi, Sitapur/Neemsar) [from Lucknow], and Maharahstra (Lonavala, Pune, Matheran, Nashik, Trimbakeshwar, Saptshrungi) [from Navi Mumbai].

My Discover broke down after Navi Mumbai-Nashik-Trimbakeshwar-Saptshrungi-Navi Mumbai trip; and service center told that engine has gone kaput (failed valve, damaged piston ring, piston head and cylinder). I got that repaired after major engine work, and went for Dominar 400 ABS (matte black) as a primary mode of travel.

First service has been done couple of days ago, and looking forward for some not so long tours again (long tours can be done only after it completes 2000KM)

Hope to see some of you in some motorcycle tour \m/

    Intro approved.

Welcome Adhokshaj, to Xbhp. We're happy to have you with us.

You're lucky to have Discover 150S as your first bike, not all have that kind of luck. For example, I started off on a second hand Kinetic Zing.
Anyhow, I hope your Discover is doing well now...

Xbhpians are there in plenty in Mumbai, do drop in their official G2G thread and introduce yourself:- https://www.xbhp.com/talkies/xbhp-of...read-1199.html

Dominar is also an awesome choice you made. Wish you all the best, and ride safely always.

And of course, this is your intro thread, feel free to post pics, videos, etc of you, your rides, etc.
