  • RISHI - A Valiant Rider

    Hi Fellow Riderz,

JFYI...This is the First time I'm registering on "xBHP" site. I was out of touch for sometime. Hence, Im putting my INTRO here. I personally like this Club very much though I've not met a single rider in this community. I'm very much impressed with the rides you do and the photographs you clicks on the ride..!! Looking forward for a warm welcome !!

    Name: Rishi
    Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
    Age: 28 Years
My Ride: Royal Enfield Bullet - ThunderBird 350 CC

    About Me:
I'm Rishi (Real Name: Dinesh Malekar). A Hard Core rider who is ready to ride anywhere, anytime..!! I've been working for a Hewitt Associates (A Software Testing Firm) as a Sr.Test Engineer & Subject Matter Expert in Peoplesoft. Riding a bike was my childhood passion. I learned riding a bike on Bajaj M80. ;D After that I owned HH-Passion and now Im a owner of Bullet - ThunderBird since last 2 years. (My wife gifted me this mean machine). I wanna ride whole India before I take my last breath on the road..!! And its my one of a dream to ride with xBHP..!!

    About My Interest:
    Bike Riding:
I'm born to ride a bike. I had a Hero Honda passion before...done lots of Rides wid my Wife & some solo rides here in Maharashtra...!!

I always wanted to have a bigger/powerful bike which would be different than the rest. I never thought that I would be owning a Royal Enfield Thunderbird some day. Finally, dream came true and I bought 350cc Royal Enfield Thunderbird (a.k.a Black Viper) in the month of September '07. The excitement of owning a bull is something that makes you feel special. It makes you feel different.

It was my dream to buy Royal Enfield...Tho I'd no idea abt d Biking Club
before....I used to ride alone...Then once I came to know abt Royal Enfield Site...I keep on visitin this site everyday...reading Blogs, abt Bullet...here I came to know about d Biking Clubs.... Biking does a lot of difference to you and your personality and when you are riding with a group it changes you all the more.

Apart from Riding..I've some other interests..too..

    Trekking:
I love to Trek in the Sahyadris. It has many interesting forts. There are total of 350 forts to be visited and I’ve seen only 15 till date.

    Photography:
This is one of my interests. Love to photograph of nature and others around me. This is the thing which keeps me thinking all the time when Im on ride or traveling.

    Movies:
I love to watch movies whenever I get free time. (Mostly in d night ). I like watching Comedy, Action, Horror & Animated Movies. (I've a good collection of these types of movies...I wanna watch when I become old.....

    Music:
Like riding I cant leave without listening to music. I like all kind of music...!

Apart from this I've interest in 2 more things....1st Helping people around me (In any way I can) and the 2nd...Searching for New places in and around Maharashtra..!!

    Rides I've Done:
    1. Ashthavinayak Ride (Eight Ganapati Temples spread accross Maharashtra) 1000 KM in 2 Days.
    2. Leh-Ladakh in 2008
    3. Mahabaleshwar (Maharashtra's famous Hill Station and Honeymoon Place )
    4. Ganapatipule (A Famous Ganapati Temple located 375 KM away from Mumbai One-Way on the white san beach)
    5. Lohagad Fort Ride (One of the Fort)
    6. Diveagar (A Beautiful Beach approx.. 275 KM away from Mumbai)
    7. Daman (A famous beach in Gujrat. Famous for DAARU..)
    8. Malshej Ghat
    9. Shirdi
    10. Alibaug & Murud Janjira (A Beautiful Beach & Fort)
    11. Khodala (Newly found hill station in Thane)
    12. Bhandardara (Again a Hill Station with picturesque Lake location between Mountains)
    13. Entire Kokan & Goa (2200 KM in 8 Days)

    And many more small rides….!!

I hope you enjoy my intro. Looking forward to ride with you one day.
