I'm here because after years of slogging I can finally get afford a biker's bike, if you get my drift
and I'm hopelessly confused about it. 
I find some great discussions on this forum, and I trust the members would be kind enough to give me some advice as well.
I used to bike when I was younger. Was somehow persuaded to downgrade to a car by family.
I plan to make a purchase in the next few months, perhaps early next year. Hopefully I'll be able to rent a few of my targets over the weekends before I decide to pony up for my own bike.
I'll get to the specifics on a different thread - just wanted to put up a quick intro here.
