  • xBHP is lucky for me...

Hi Guys, I am Jay from Pinkcity Jaipur, Rajasthan. I am a college student. I was not into bikes initially, I preferred automatic scooters because they are easy to ride. I used to think that bikes are too complicated to ride becasue both hands and both legs are needed to ride a bike.

But unfortunately (or fortunately) an accident changed my view. Since than I stopped riding them. I exchanged my scooter with my dad's bike (100cc ) and than I knew what bikes are. Since than I've rode every bike (from RX100 to Zma to Avenger ) that my friends or relatives own. The amount of sheer pleasure, excitement, that rush of adrenaline, than sound of the engine...You can't compare them with anything.

Believe it or not, I've dropped Engg. for a new bike . After finishing my school I requested my parents to buy me a new bike. But they made some weird excuses. So after completing one year of Engineering. I requested them again. They refused and then I refused to continue my Engg . In this one year my father bought a 125cc bike for himself. I later pursued BBA (against the wish of my parents), and in the first year of my BBA they bought an automatic scooter for my younger bro.

But I think XBHP is a lucky charm for me . Because the day (26 May 2009) my XBHP account was validated was the day when my father gave me price quotation of a bike . I've heard some reliability issues with that bike so I told him my choice. He agreed and Maybe next month I will kick this 100cc crap and will ride a much powerful (a 150cc) bike.

    Thanks XBHP, my lucky charm.

Frankly, I don't find any sense in what you did. Why spoil your career just because you're denied a new bike? Besides, if you had continued with engineering, in 3 years, you could have made enough money to buy a new 150cc bike every month!

firstly duration of engg is 4 years and secondly Bike was not the only reason I left engg... that was a major reason along with some minor reasons... its a cruel world...

anyway, I will study seriously from now on so that I can earn enough money for a 150cc bike every month...probably in 5 years...
