  • An Avenger

Avenger has been my dream motorcycle ever since it was launched. The ad, that 'I forgive' one, was mesmerising. But when I rode at after renting it after my Master's, I found out that the handlebar was a bit too far for me (I am 5'3). I have loved this bike since my bachelor's...

Cut to now... I have run almost 1000 km.
    It's a treat.

Congratulations and welcome to the family. I have my Avenger 220 since 2011. It is in its 9th year, and has covered approximately 64700 Km. Despite not taking care of it like I should have, it has given its best and been my buddy all the time. I must say build quality is really god. Not sure of current lot. Reason I say this is because, despite all sort of abuse, it has stayed strong and has kept going. Cant think of using other bikes, especially expensive ones, like this.

Please take care of your ride and do proper periodic maintenance and basic chores like cleaning the chain etc. diligently. I am sure even after a decade you will have this companion putting a grin on your face. I always say this - People keep saying that Indian manufacturers do not offer quality product. I beg to disagree. They do provide quality & VFM product, what they do not is after-sales service, and also blame lies with owners as majority do not take care of Indian motorcycles like they do with an expensive motorcycle.

Wish you many happy and safe miles on your dream ride. Keep riding and keep sharing your experiences.
