Pulsar 220 or NS 200

    Pulsar 220 or NS 200

    Hi everyone, I am Sagar from ludhiana and I wanna purchase a new bike.

    Right now I m using P150 2012. I want something better in terms of low-end torque. Fuel-efficiency doesn't matter much my budget is around 1.5 lakhs.

    I usually ride in city traffic and Ludhiana's traffic is bad and roads are not too good either. My height is 5'7 and weight is 80 kg.

    Most of the time, the bike would stand idle as i don't ride much or say hardly 100 to 150 kms in a month.

    I have listed P220 and NS 200 and R15 v3 BS4.

    I need suggestions to figure out which bike is better for my usage?

      Go for 220, its awesome . I've recently got one, low end is better than NS 200.

            It has carburetor issues, stiffer suspension than P 220, uncomfortable pillion seat, higher maintenance due to liquid cooled engine, absence of projector headlights etc.

              Will you be interested in buying a March 2016 Pulsar AS 200, run 4100 KM (yes 4 thousand one hundred).

              The bike is PB02 regd, and is in Amritsar.

                bt every bike has got some sort of issues..even my p150 have issues..ns may have some problems bt it comes with advance tech looks are subjective....

                      In 1.5 lack budget you have rs 200, ns 200, apache 200, fz 25. Take test drives of all the bikes and then decide, moreover you can read the threads of all the mentioned bikes here so that you get to know about these bikes properly

                        Surprised to find your bike still unsold. Did you try any sites like Olx, or if you want to dispose it why not go through a local broker. IIRC, your bike had that coolant and oil mixing problem - how was it solved?

                            Don't scare him, let him take his decision. Bajaj has replaced the 'single lip' water pump seal to 'double lip' in recent batches of NS/RS. Also, not all NS are affected. One should also read "Ride to KISS" in Tlog section, the gentleman tours in his reliable NS200.

                            Personally, if I had to choose between:

                            BS4 Carb models -> P220F.
                            BS6 Fi models -> NS200.

                            P220F Fi or Carb will be more VFM, but that's not the only reason to buy it.
