  • Self-intro from another fellow biker!

    Greetings everybody,

I hope all of you are having / had a great day / weekend!

Here's my little introduction to y'all:

I'm a 33 years old biker / automobile enthusiast / Gamer / hobby Singer and Photographer from Bengaluru but not the one who could boast of knowing the city in and out. However, what I do know is that I love motorcycles and I've mostly been a city rider with a few fairly long distance and solo rides on several bikes including my Yamaha FZ16 and Hero Honda Splendor.

My FZ16 has seen several mods over the years, died twice but resurrected successfully with better hardware and performance mods both times (which I'll talk in detail in an appropriate thread) and I don't ride the Splendor any more.

Also, I own a used but in a great shape, Ford Figo 1.5 TDCI (2015); a recent addition to the family and I'm planning to get its ECU remapped in a few months from now, along with several other performance mods.

As for gaming, I love playing Rally (Dirt 4), FPS, and Strategic games (PC) for the most part and I consider Logitech G29 Steering wheel, H-type Shifter, and Pedals combo one of the best investments for my gaming (Rally) needs.

This being the first automobiles related forum I have ever joined, I am not sure what more I could write in the intro but hey, I'll stick around and try to be as useful as possible while gaining as much knowledge as possible from the brilliant minds in the forum!

Looking forward to have a healthy interaction with y'all,

    Avinash Krishnamurthy

Hello and welcome to the family, Avinash.

That FZ looks impeccable still and that G29 is a beaut. Give Forza Horizon 4 a try if road-racing is your thing. Maybe Project Cars as well.

Keep riding (and driving... and playing video games) and ride safe.

Thank you for the warm welcome!

That FZ is fam and it has gone through plenty of ups and downs with me but is still cared for. Along with major performance mods, I recently even gave it a paint job myself but there are lot of things in line for it!

Yes, G29 is quite a looker while being a decent performer and it is the sole reason why I got in to simulators from the regular racing games. Forza Horizon 4 is not yet my cup of tea (outdated computer and operating system combo) but when I do get to try, I'm aiming for the Forza Motorsport 7 first (me being a rally and simulator fan) and then the FH 4 (killer graphics and open world).

I tried Project Cars alongside Dirt 4 but the latter just gripped on to me better and I couldn't give more time for the former; not going to let that slide though.. haha

I'm happy to be here and to see the forum active
