  • Golden quadrilateral ride - Rode 6000 KMS in 112HRS

    Hi bikers,

I did a Golden quadrilateral ride - Rode 6000 KMS in 112HRS trying for a limca book of records in Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X on 12th Feb 2020. 56 hrs of non-stop ride of 4500KMS and then due to major bike failure lost complete 1 day. Then I got it serviced but I was supposed to ride the remaining 1500KMS in less than 60KMPH speed or transport it back to Bangalore on the train because of the engine problem. But as decided I completed my ride by riding for reaming 1500KMs with a speed of 60KMPH.

you can also check my FB or Insta profile for complete ride details. Insat - shiftlife390, FB-https://www.facebook.com/pavan.gowda.79

I am planning to re-do it again in april month so i am looking out for some one who could sponsor for my ride plase can anyone suggest me. Since i have recently ridden on those rode i have planned well this time to compete the ride in less time. Thank you in advance.

    Hi Pavan,

We at xBhp always promote safe motorcycling and have always believed that motorcycling should be done to seek happiness and not to make or break records. These rides which are primarily designed to break a record, especially the ones where you are chasing a time-bound target, are not suitable for a country like India and pose a great danger to the rider as well as other road users. Hence, we do not promote these riders ourselves and also encourage every xBhpian to avoid indulging in rides like these

That being said, it is your personal decision in the end and you may go ahead with what you feel is right for yourself. We can only wish good luck to you.

Also, it is our belief and also our experience that any known brand/company would stay away from sponsoring such rides in India, which are potentially dangerous to the people involved.

    Ride safe.

Congrats on your accomplishment, it is no easy feat riding like that. But, it is better you consider what you are trying to do and how you will do so that safety is paramount. You should get a team to support you in such demanding rides as riding alone is not safe. You can get in tough with Royal Enfield to see if they can support/sponsor your ride, or the dealer of RE where you bought this bike who can help you.
