  • A shoestring budget can't stop me from having fun on two wheels

I've been a member for a half a decade but back then, the signup process was a bit lenient. So I'm taking this opportunity to say hi to fellow riders and explain what riding means to me so you know what I'm all about well before we meet in person.
    -------------------
Riding for me is refreshing. It's relaxing. I love all forms of motorcycling. Off-roading, touring, cafe, commuting, cruising (least favorite though), track days, stunt riding (closed course, of course), rallying, scrambling (I sometimes like to take the Navi off the road and do stupid stuff like trying to find a tougher route that goes nowhere. I think it's called scrambling.)

Riding helps me forget everything I think is wrong in life. It encourages me to stay fit. A few minutes of off-road riding is enough to remind me how much I'm out of shape. it helps me build a bond with my motorcycle.
Hell, even trying to fix some something wrong with the motorcycle or installing an accessory is oddly satisfying for whatever little time it allows me to spend with the motorcycle.

Motorcycling also allows me to make a style statement even when I'm off the saddle. With appropriate riding gear, I'm able to announce my devotion to motorcycling without saying a word. Allows me to open up other riders riding modest motorcycles about the importance of riding gear. I wish to gradually break the notion of associating riding gear with big bikes.

My motorcycle preferences include bikes that are ridable in Indian conditions. Therefore, I'm not interested in big bikes.

Hello and welcome to the family (officially).

We loved your expression of motorcycling and what it means to you. I am sure all our members would love to hear more from you regarding all your roadtrips and your thoughts about your steeds.

We wish that your to-do-list and motorcycles-to-get-list have huge 'checks' in front of them soon.

    Keep riding and ride safe.

        Beautiful experiences there bro.
I am myself a budget traveller, or I was before I started a business here in Manali.
If you ever visit Manali, especially during winter, I will be happy to host you bro. Check out our Manali Igloo site. If you are into adventure, feel free to stop by for our Skiing or Snowboarding lessons.
I look best when I take my helmet off, I have a glow on my face and a bit of helmet hair ;)
