  • Greetings from Manila, Philippines!

    Hello fellow riders!

Im Eric and from Manila, Philippines. I recently acquired a yamaha FZ16 imported from your country and would like to know more about it since there are less than 10units being sold locally.

Nice site! enjoying reading the threads.

    More power to all!

    Introduction Approved.

Hello 3kings, nice to see you finally posting. Welcome to xBhp!

As for your FZ16, there is a separate thread dedicated to the FZ (under the 'Motorcycle Ownership Experiences' forum). Do check that out, and post there if you have any query.

                    ^^^ that means Rs 1,80,000 for a FZ and 2,30,000 for R15!!

R15 is Rs 1,11,000 (approx) in India... FZ shud be 70,000 (thats around 150% more!)

@praksh_mvpa: there is a local dealer that imports it from india. i dont know the details. the day i saw that in their showroom i said to myself i have to take this home.

@L.P.: formalities? i guess the dealer did all of that. thats the reason why its so expensive in the Philippines - duties and taxes, registration, insurance, freight, etc. I guess that's the reason why Yamaha Philippines cant justify importing those units because of the cost consideration.

@haroon: salamat! wow! you speak filipino. if you are in these side of the woods just let me know and lets ride!
