  • Howdy Everyone, It's Great to be here!!!

    Hi All BHPians,

I am Abhi K. Bhattacharya, and here's about me:

    Age: 25 Yrs.
Location: Ghodbunder Road, Thane - (West), Mumbai.

Occoupation: A software engineer, working for a consultancy firm.

Bikes Owned: Pulsar 220 Dts-Fi (blue) - 3rd servicing done ~6500 Kms, Pulsar 150 Dtsi (black). - My first bike now in its YesterYears.
Cars Owned: Mitsubishi Lancer GLXi - petrol, Maruti Esteem {sold}.

    My Riding History:
I brought my first bike quite a while ago, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSi, my rides used to be commutes to and from office with occasional trips with friends, which is still pretty much the same now.

Apr 2007 I unfortunately met with an accident while riding to office in Powai, A day I will remember my whole life. I had broken 3 ribs, right femur bone fractured. I walked only after 3 months, and last year had the femur rod finally removed.

With my life back to normal, the femur rod now kept as a souvenir and the increasing craving to start riding again, i brought the 220. I recently went on a trip to daman with collegues, It was wonderful to be riding again.

I practice safe riding and would urge everyone to do the same.

Hobbies: Obsession with anything on 2 or 4 wheels, Music, long scenic road trips.

I am free on weekends and really enjoy making new friends, going for rides. Well, that was all about me & I am proud to be a member of xBhp!!!!

        Hi Abhi... welcome to xBHP
        Two questions
        1) Did we meet? - I mean are you the guy who asked me if I was interested in doing long rides and I referred you to join xBHP
        2) Are you on XDA as well?

        Cheers!

                            @ Rachit-

Yea, that brahmand-ghodbunder turn is one nasty accident spot.

Your LEH ride was huge man, I'll need to plan a lot of things before I embark on a trip such as LEH (PL's from office etc), but when it comes up next year, I'm up for it.

I'm good for 500-1500 Km rides any weekend. Please let me know if there is anything coming up as I'm really looking forward to meeting up.
