A msg to all Rx owners who really care for their bike and ride,I had read many threads relating to availability of spares from Yamaha, touch wood till date i did not face any major problem with the engine as its a single hand use, recently i had to visit the Yamaha showroom at my place in Pune (Wakdewadi) for some spares, guys out there were very helpful and respected their old bike customers of RD & RX,as they had many customers asking for spares for thier bikes, and touch wood what all they asked the Company gave them.Dont know about RD spares.I had some savings done from my salary so i thought better invest in spares atleast tomorrow i can use it in case any thing goes wrong,Just a thought came to my mind like dont know about tomorrow what if genuine spares are not available in the company the bike will have to be kept alive on DESI SPARES no way??? I asked the person in the spares Dept, will the spares available for RX100,he replied Sir right now what ever is possible collect it tomorrow we also do not what will be available and what not as spare part prices are rising heavily for RX & For RD NO SPARES .
Next day i moved out with a list, reached the showroom all started with the Block Piston,New Crank,Reed Valve,Clutch Plates,Pressure Plates,Oil Pump,Mikuni Carb,Front & Rear Fender,Mud Flap,Black Petrol Tank & Side Pannels,Petrol Pipe,Oil Pipe,Front Drum,Rear Drum,Chain Sproket Full Set,Front Rear Rim,Switch,Fork Pipes,Speedometer,Full Bearing Set Of the Engine,Oil Tank,Main Stand,12V Harness,Bend Pipe,Engine Screws Full Set,Silencer,Muffler,Steel Spokes,Stater Plate, and few more things to add........to the list but no regrets what i spent on the spares today, because what i invested is life for the bike tomorrow. One main point in here is that what all i got was Genuine in all RED AND WHITE Yamaha Genuine Boxes.May God Bless all The RX100's with never ending life........!!!!!!Guys any help feel free to a hearty welcome to all RX owners.....Preserve your RX!!!!!!!!!
