14 bikes!!! Thats amazing. I own a RE Machismo. I dont know if you would consider that as a bullet, because a lot of people dont. Its a 7 year old bike and i got it recently from my brother. But my recent job doesn't leave me with enough energy or time to maintain it. So its condition is becoming worse.

Triple Test- ELECTRA v THUNDERBIRD v MACHISMOOriginally posted by Udayakiran View Post14 bikes!!! Thats amazing. I own a RE Machismo. Uday, if that is the case, then i have to re segregate my Bullets as - 500cc Standard Bullets 2, 350cc Standard Bullets 2 and 350cc Machismo 1. I personally don't find much diff between Std and Mach, but of course there are some diff. Check the above link and you will get fair idea. Std Bullet comes with Iron Engine and the thump is mind blowing and Machismo comes with Aluminium engine and sound is little less. But no problem in considering both as BULLETS :-)3 Bullet 350cc

My New GS 150 R
Friends !!! at last i got my GS 150 R today..... Blue colour bike... Below are my first day experience :-)
My house is 7 Kms away from the showroom. By the time i reached home, bike switched off 3 times due to petrol flow issue. Every time i used to open the tank cap and bike would start again. Very irritating. Ok, i reached home, went to the temple with mother and got the pooja done for the new bike. Now, i wanted to go for a short ride. Bike is good. Can not use Awesome, extraordinary or superb on the first day. As all said i also say the same that gears are really smooth. Bike is little heavy, but very nice looking. At ECO mode 4500 RPM is the cutoff point beyond which the warning light starts blinking. So at 4500 RPM in 6th Gear the bike reaches a constant speed of 60. ( imagining i riding the bike at 9000 RPM and what would be the speed !!!! ). Found difficult to maintain the bike below 4500 RPM to avoid the light. Need to wait till the bike crosses 1000 KM mark on Odo to increase the throttle. Headlight is good. Not that bad as few quoted. But the petrol flow issue made me really angry. Showroom person asked me to take the bike to him for correction. Any one knows what is the problem here?
Overall i am happy with the bike. On highway i was feeling like i am sitting in the Volvo bus as i was feeling that level comfort due to nice suspension work done.
Will keep you posted about rest tomorrow :-)3 Bullet 350cc

Hi Subramanya, Reagarding the ignition off issue, even i had the same problem in one of my RX135, later came to know there will be a small hole in the petrol tank cap from where air will move out and helps in easy flow of the pertol and it was blocked, once i cleaned it and made it free, issue got resolved, but i am not sure in the newer modles of bikes, how it would be. Thanks

Exactly. I guess the same. But very annoying to see this issue on the FIRST day itselfOriginally posted by mohanar82 View PostHi Subramanya, Reagarding the ignition off issue, even i had the same problem in one of my RX135, later came to know there will be a small hole in the petrol tank cap from where air will move out and helps in easy flow of the pertol and it was blocked, once i cleaned it and made it free, issue got resolved, but i am not sure in the newer modles of bikes, how it would be.
