I am Ramamoorthy from Trivandrum, Kerala. After leaving hometown in 1992 due to occupational hazards, returned to Trivandrum in 2007 for unwinding. I am a travel buff and have roamed most of India using mainly public transport and Youth Hostel accommodation. My driving experiences start with my friend's Bajaj Chetak during collage days. In 1995 purchased a Suzuki Samurai which was a great bike and having covered ~1 lakh kms in 8 years; sold it in 2003 and got myself a HH Passion which was another great companion for some 50K kms in six years. In between had a 1982 Premier Pamini from 1997-1999 also..

I am not a sedate rider and wanted to cut down speed (I never ride above 80 kmph). When I heard that they are stopping Royal Enfield Standard gifted myself the Great Thumper this August (2009) and riding ever since..

I work for the Finance Ministry, Govt of India.
