Hi everyone. I stumbled upon this forum through a random Google superbike search. I'm impressed with the active community here. Keep up the great work.

A little about me: I'm 23 yrs old. Live in Chicago (Obamatown). My folks are originally from Hyderabad and came to Chicago when I was quite young. On the professional side, I'm a financial analyst / media market researcher at a worldwide ad agency (rather keep it private).

I started riding last year; a little late to the party. Everyone drives cars in the States due to the weather and convenience so you rarely see a bike on the road. Started out on a Yamaha R6 last season. Just picked up a CBR1000RR for the upcoming summer.

    Few pics:
    1. From a random spur of the moment 2am trip
    2. Bringing the CBR home, strapped in the back of my buddy's (Brian) pick up truck. He's a racetrack coach and a bike mechanic as well.
    3. Recent track day in Florida
    4-6. Random road trips

I'll upload plenty of pics when the weather warms up in 3 months. Right now its below freezing outside and there's a foot of snow on the ground.

Yeah, the R6 was sweet as a first bike. I had a blast with it last season. Although, I don't recommend it to others as a starter bike. One accidental slip of the throttle and the bike will jump out from underneath you. I was fortunate to ride under the company of track coaches and race junkies. Picked up lots of good tips. Also, my brother has been riding for 25 years, so I got the confidence from him.
