  • Nitin Malapally.

    Hello everybody!

Seems like a very vast online motorcycle enthusiast community right here, I'm glad to have registered. I'm Nitin Malapally, avid enthusiast, motorcycle philosopher and generally confused rider. I've just about completed 10000km on my Yamaha YZF R15 so I'm rather a novice. However, in my journey I've been fortunate to have an experienced ex-rally racer uncle who's given me tips when I've asked for them and otherwise, I've mostly picked up whatever i know either by experience or from the internet.

I'm keen on learning more, and more importantly, I'm currently in need of decision; as to exactly what sort of rider I am. I've mostly ridden my Full-faired R15 with it's clip-on handlebars. But recently, I've tried other bikes and enjoyed naked bikes tremendously. I used to believe in speed and power-charts only, and not in personal enjoyment. I achieved a 150km/h maxout on the R15 (149 to be precise) and am still rather discontent. And yes, I do tour a lot. At least a thousand and a half kilometres every quarter year.

I used to think that the Yamaha YZF R6 was the best you could get, but recently I've caught myself downloading more Ducati Monster 696 videos!
It seems to me now that I'm on the line of distinction. I'm even contemplating selling my R15 for an FZ16!

    Well, that's about it

Haha, very true! It's kind of like quick sand, the more you struggle, the deeper you sink. But actually, I rather think I've made a move about my confusion now. I've sold my Yamaha R15 (Bless it's soul) and purchased a brand new FZ-S for taking some time out to enjoy low-end-torque-and-sit-up-straight-naked biking! Hope it was a good move... Oh and thanks a lot about the photography!
