    Pulsar 220 for sale

    With a heavy heart I have decided to part my ways with my ride of the past two years, Bajaj Pulsar 220, fondly called MiG 29 for awesome reasons [emoji16] [emoji5]. The love affair couldn't last longer than this because I have been transferred to neighbour Maharashtra where step-motherly treatment is given to out of state vehicles. The society(read Maharashtra Police) here doesn't want to acknowledge this relationship. We are looking for a new home for the big baby, a loving family.

    Below are the details of my MiG 29:

    Color - Cocktail wine red.
    Date of purchase - 12 Feb 2015
    Odometer reading - 11106 kms
    Insurance renewed and valid till 4th March, 2018.
    Well maintained by a passionate bike lover(Oh, I am an XBHPian of more than half a decade).
    Motul 5100 semi synthetic oil has been fed to the baby after crossing the 5000 kms mark.
    Always polished using Formula Wax and Liquid Polish.
    Fuel tank can be used as an alternative to mirror - yes it shines that way. 😬

    But how about pay LTT in MH and keep the bike if you love it so much! (And forget re-imbursement from TS RTO since it won't be worth it without contacts).

        Bhai, for that I need NOC and that will cot me the same as NOC process is supposed to get me refund of the LTT. It's a real tough work to get it re-registered here. Need to pay about 2.5K to Hyd agent + 9-10K as LTT here in Pune + 2.5K for the Pune Agent. All this is not helping with the asset value. Also, somewhere in my mind, I am already looking for a bigger one. It feels like cheating since I would love to keep my P220 without harassment from Police here.

          Well, this is one of the reasons. BTW, I got the LTT process closed for my JH reg bike in KA in 4 days flat. NOC + PCC costs ₹100 and some running around (all fee, no bribes) in a day. Rest 3 days of running around in the RTO (maybe 2 days if you can manage sweet talking) for the LTT minus the bribes.
          But I hope your bike finds a loving home.

            You got NOC process done for your bike in KA? I thought of paying the road tax for a year here in Pune but they scrapped that 3 years ago. May be it was a loss making policy where Gandhi photos were not getting in their pocket. It's probably easier to buy an ex-army battle tank and make it road worthy. I am also in dilemma on which bike to get next, so please don't mind you'll be bothered a lot bhai [emoji16]

              Nope. I got the NOC done while transferring the bike from JH. Now since you've already moved the bike, you can visit the local MH RTO and have them carry out the process. They'll internally contact your TS RTO and get the necessary details. Standard procedure takes upto 7-10 days.

              Please feel free to contact me for any more detailed discussions on the same.

              P.S : AFAIK, only WB has 12 months taxation in place as of now.
