I hope you realise currently there is major political unrest in that area. I would advise you to cancel/ postpone your trip. Getting in and out will be a major hassle. Added to that is the monsoons on currently.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

I have enquired with the people there and most of them are saying the unrest is in Darjeeling hills. There is little or no problem in Siliguri. [emoji3]. And we won't be loitering around the region for more than 3 hours. Airport - >Vehicle-> Jaigaon.

Couple questions. Hopefully you can answer after you complete your trip. Does the $250 fee per day per person not apply to Indian citizens? Can a person enter Bhutan by showing Indian driver's license?

No. That fee is for all foreigners except Indians. Bhutanese people don't like the influence of foreign culture, that is why the excessive fee. They cannot do that to Indian tourists, because the country is heavily dependent on India for most things. India is happy to pay because it has strategic importance with respect to China.

AFAIK, two Indian ID cards are required.
