It was great meeting all you xBhpians in person. I enjoyed the session thoroughly. Apologies for leaving the session early as I had to attend a society meeting at 10:00am.

All-in-All, this DIY G2G rocked. Keep up the good work.
Firstly my apologies for the delayed start of DIY session. I know 'Time is Money' and we Mumbaikars have a tight schedule even on Sundays !

But as you know some things are unavoidable & out of my control ... Just like I never ever thought even in my wildest dream that the building next to Amphitheater was a marriage (community hall) ... I thought it was some storage or Aarey's private building. Moreover had absolutely no idea that a marriage was being scheduled there today ... Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Next time we would make sure in advance that no event is being conducted there during our DIY hour.

Moreover as expected and predicted rightly by viraj assembling and coordinating so many people coming from different directions and at different time was not an easy task ... As the venue was not known to many & meeting point 2 being ambiguous people coming from powai side had tough time locating us ... Also Ashish had some personal reasons so he started late from his home .... Overall the start of session was delayed by 1 hour (only ) ... We had planned to wrap it up in next 2 hours but again as predicted by viraj, soon we were running out of time .... Ashish had come with an extensive list of topics to be covered in the first session ... Also he was fully geared with all the tools and equipments required for those topics ... That made me feel not to abruptly stop the session even if it exceeded 2 hours deadline as he took so much efforts & pain to get himself (he hardly had any sleep for past 2-3 days) and also those tools with him all the way from kalwa. Apologies for extending the DIY much beyond the stated end time of 10am (it ended at 12pm ) ... Next time we would stick to limited topics and wrap up in 2 hours anyhow !

Now the positives .... Till Ashish arrived at the venue we started with a small intro session to get ourselves acquainted with each other .... It was nice to see so many newbies turning out for this session ... Ashish was really well prepared and delivered better than expected .... I really liked how senior members (esp. ketan, rakesh, mg, omega, etc) added their inputs impromptu as and when they felt ... This session covered almost all the basic and some advance topics related to bike mechanics & electricals ... All in all it was very well explained and demonstrated session by Ashish ... Helmets off to you sir !

What now we need is your feedback and suggestions for conducting an even better DIY session next time ... As we learn from our mistakes and experience these sessions will surely get better and better !

Ohh ... you could have joined us as the session was anyways delayed ... many members joined us after 10am which was the actual scheduled end time and still got many things to learn and share !

thanks rony for all the arrangements. Amphitheatre was good too. ( woh shaadiwalon ko 10-10 rupaye sealed envelope mein dalke dete to khana bhi mil jaata )

Big thanks to all who woke up on sunday morning and came for no-riding, no-food G2G.
In fact most senior members came just to meet others and to support the new guys.

            • A BIG BIG thanks to Ashish aka motionfreak for his efforts and sharing the knowledge. He actually took efforts and got all the points printed on a paper for smooth and systematic session. Right at the start of the session he said he has had very little sleep and was tired. With that state of mind and body, what he did today is really commendable.

Ashish, you wanted me to help you through DIY tips? LOL.. I seriously don't have much knowledge about technical aspects of machines, at least not as much as You, Rakesh, Omega_man and some others do have. But I tried my best to support you today

What makes Ashish's efforts even more commendable is that though a lot of members didn't seem interested (throughout the session) in what he was explaining, Ashish didn't take things lightly and ended it abruptly. He tried to cover as many points as he could in that small time. Genuine efforts man!

Thanks to Rony for taking the initiative, finalizing the venue & doing recce etc. Raman sir happily handed over his Pulsar for all the experiments and operations

Lastly it was very nice to meet all the new guys... Thanks to Balaji JI and Batman for the ride

Presence of Mallu superstar and his mallu Pulzee was the special attraction of today's meet

See you all soon in some ride! Till then Ride Safe and take care!

never thought that such a huge crowd will turn up.
reinforces that people definitely need the knowledge to be passed on.

good to see new faces behind the IDs & meet the really really old fellas

                      • Darn!!! I hate to have missed out on this G2G. Friday night when I was returning from office my bike was stalling. Thankfuly it was close to home and I had to push it a few hunderd meters. All thanks to muddy water in the fuel tank bought from a petrol pump in Marol.

Well said ketan. Rony(for organizing), ashish(for theory and practical of DIY) and raman(for allowing us to experiment on his pulsar) deserve a special round of applause for their efforts and I also appreciate everyone who turned up today, was great meeting you guys.

                          Feedback:-
1.)Like satyen said, some place where breakfast is not so far away.
2.)More pics of the actual DIY preferably a small video on each of the topics covered, so that people who miss such DIY's can also understand the concepts.
3.)Hot wiring techniques for different brands of bikes..
