Hello all,
Sorry but, count me out for this ride as i was thr yesterday
Tips for u guys ...
1. dont go to harihareshwar, there is nothing except for the temple.
2. instead go to Divya ghar ... as anup had suggested(thanx a ton man !) it is a virgin beach and there are couple of good resorts thr...
3 . Sai ghat is amazing, awesome curves and smooth roads..... the only concern is cows roaming on the road.
4. Freaking hot after 10am so better reach before that. we had to keep the car AC on all the time.

@Inder : the pic which i have attached(first one) is of Harihareshwar which is almost unreachable...
the other beach(2nd pic) is at diva ghar, its really good , with couple of good resorts like Exotica(2500 per nite), dhanraj(2000), prathamesh(1500 per cottage non AC) there are other chepo resorts too....
the only problem was the garmi during the day its really bad.....
guess the best time to visit these places on bike wld b nov/dec when the whether is cooler.Aprilia RS 125 or Honda CB400 Vtec ..... which one will it be ??? I think its gonna be NINJA ZX 6R :-)Comment

oops!!! Sorry for the wrong statement. Now There is a change in the plan. We are riding for sure; however the time is changed to suit more riders.(MotorB pls make it to this ride as we are riding to your home town)
As of now the tentative plan is to ride at 3:00 am from Eternity Mall Reach Panvel by 3:45 am. Ride to Wadkhal Naka by 4:30 am.
Reach goregaon "motorbreaths hometown" at 6:00. Enjoy a good breakfast meet MotorB family and leave by 7:30 max to reach our destination by 9:00am.From Goregaon the road to harihreshwar will be around about 40 kms. These roads are bad thats what i have heard. (Chilled_fire can u put some light on this?).
After visiting the Harihareshwar temple we ride in search of the Virgin Beach towards Dighi ( i am almost sure that Chilled_fire missed out on the beach i am mentioning) as my friend who is from the same village tells me that this is a very small beach such a size of a football ground...chances are that we might miss it. If we find it anyhow we spend the day there chilling and monkeyin around.
We should be able to find cheap accomodation there or we get back to the beach and camp there.and sleep by night and ride back in the morning at 3:00 again to reach back home by 12 noon max.
I will post the map tomorrow anyhow.(no time during weekdays).
Other Essentials to carry:
Money - 1500rs minimum. (500 for emergency)
Water bring atleast a bottle of water from home.
Extra clothes: for swimming and also for sleeping
Odomos: Lots of mosquitos
Medicine: For some allergies.
Electral and Glucon D or Redbull(if u got money)
Carry some chips which are lying in the house.(to save money)
Bedsheet or a foldable matress as we might end up camping at the beach.
Torch. Each one try to arrange. The more the better.
Lets do something different rather than just riding and reaching a destination. Lets try and arrange for camping.
We can arrange for a born fire by ourselves .
