@all: My bad, there was another mod too - our very own rossiter!
Dude, you're not committing any crime. Sneaking out without your parent's knowledge is a bad idea. Do educate your parents about xBhp. Even my parents were thinking that I was a part of some illegal street racing biking club when I mentioned them about xBhp for the first time. I took them through xBhp's website and told them about the good causes we do (safe riding, donating money for noble cause (during xBhp's birthdays), rare blood group, meeting like-mided people, and the list goes on). And the best part, you develop your writing skills too! Doesn't that sound sweet? It does!Originally posted by EL LOCO DIABLO View PostI apologise for the inconvience caused, i was to sneak out of the house yesterday, but "they" had found out somehow and stopped me, i had to cancel because i can't jeopardise my further G2G visits due to this
Since you still are a student, you might have some restrictions. Believe me, 'they' will not stop you when they know what you're doing is right. May be the freak accident (the fall you had last month) is a cause of concern for them. All said and done, family comes first.

Actually i did do all of what you said, but still they find that i'm not supposed to be doing all this!! They say they bought the bike for commuting purposes only (the make and model was left to my choice), and that when i earn i can do whatever with the moneyOriginally posted by kirosh_03 View Post@all: My bad, there was another mod too - our very own rossiter!

Guess it will take some time for them to come around, they should luckily
I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

If it is that way, let's wait until that time.Originally posted by EL LOCO DIABLO View PostActually i did do all of what you said, but still they find that i'm not supposed to be doing all this!! Easy dude.... even i was not lucky so to speak... I came 'without' my dad's permission (i'm working; so the freedom i enjoy is more)... but he knows i'm responsible, and now he's convinced i wasn't out there doing some street race. Sure, every race comes with some risk which you should not pass on to someone else (so, wait till you start earning when u can take decisions). If u r sure u r not gonna lose ur reasoning once u r at the circuit (lot of guys freak out at these events) - go ahead and take that step. But until u r a student, let ur parents make that choice. Not that they stop caring about u once u pass this stage, but they'll let u take chancesOriginally posted by EL LOCO DIABLO View PostActually i did do all of what you said, but still they find that i'm not supposed to be doing all this!! Point taken, but i unlike my peers have learnt the hard way that mindless driving will not pay, and i've actually changed my driving style due to this, but my parents can't seem to grasp the whole concept of "lifestlye biking" eventhough my dad himself was a hardcore biker in his early days, he still finds me a tad too addicted to my bike, actually this is another reason why he says that i need to take this one by oneOriginally posted by NightRiders View PostEasy dude.... even i was not lucky so to speak... update from hyd guys
i am unable to talk about the yamaha organization without the foulest of words leaving my lips
we all just reached hyd at 7.30 pm after sitting for nearly 24 hr on the return
our trip details;
sat 18th 4.30 pm BUS STARTS
sun 19th 2.30pm BUS REACHES MMSC
sun 19th 7:00 one Mr Venkat asks us to get into the bus assuring to drop us in hyd at 10.30 am
sun 20th evening 7:30 pm we reach dead tired
the driver nearly ran us off road some 3-4 times as per eyewitnesses( i was sleeping) then decided to stop the bus to sleep and then averaged 40kmph over the entire journey
we reached chennai to find out there was no place we could shower and
a few guys (me included) stripped and showered in the open like a bunch of cows
the entire blame is on one idiot Mr Satya of YMIL and his twin Idiot Mr Rambabu also fo YMIL who hired a city bus for us probably to pocket the difference amount froma volvo and they panicked and did not inform the seooir officials as to what happened and blamed us for teh 10hr delay saying that we had taken too many breaks when the truth is we did not even stop for breakfast...
on the way back we demanded a different vihcle saying that the driver is fatigued and cannot drive after driving 22hrs at a stretch
Venkat and co told us 'Dont worry they are used to driving days at a stretch'
They treated us as third rate citizens and Satya and Rambabu being colossal idiots/impotetnt/incompetent/m******u****s... did not realize that 40 ppl ended up losing workdays/college days...YMIL officials out there...WE DEMAND AN EXPLANATION!!!!
Other than this the 3 hrs we spent on the track was fun and i personally learneda lot and even started learning how to lean but all that joy is driven out of my mind and i am seething in fury as i recall the hardship/disconfort and callousness we all had to face...
and to make matters worse i took Venkats number from Satya to tell him we arrived 10 hrs after the promised time and found out that eh number is switched off..
regards,
Harsha
P:S congrats to the winners.. will post notes about the time i had on track with other guys tomorrow morning ...
P:P:S i am going to beat the daylights out of RAMBABU/SATYA next time i see them.Last edited by harshaguduru; 10-20-2008, 10:52 PM.Why is the man who invests all your money, called a broker?
