@ALL- I'm pretty skeptical about my attendance to this g2g (too!) The water around my locality has slowly been increasing and right now thw whole street is under knee-deep water, and the nearby pond also overflowing it seems, i think i might have to put my status on hold, again sorry people it seems like the Goddesses of Bad Luck seem to have really taken a liking to me these days

          You are killing me.
Seriously though, try to make it man. It'd be too good if you did. Besides, I think your ride'll be able to make it across water.

Atleast THOSE goddesses have a liking for you. I seem to be repelling all of the female kind.

In the meanwhile, can we please have a list of people who are confirming their attendance again? Updated?

We're trying to start an initiative where we're gathering enough photos or videos
of erratic Swiggy/Zomato/UberEats riders across all cities so we can cast a spotlight
on this issue and try and sort it out. If you video-record as you ride, or have a
dash-cam in your car, or can take SAFELY photographs of instances where these riders
are creating a nuisance by riding recklessly on the roads, PLEASE share the same with
us on the thread above. Appreciate it!

                      Folks,

The orphanage has children studying 3rd grade to 11th grade. Most of the ones are quite young I believe. Strength is 30-35. When I have more information, I will post.

I'm not sure about the rains. But we can be prepared for it. The good thing is that we are riding early enough to avoid traffic. Plus we always have the GST as an alternate. Not to worry!

Damn. Well, do try to make it bro. It'll be good if you do. It ain't fair if you skip twice in a row.

I think I have clothes that I can give away to these children. May I make that part of the contribution?

Does the estimated distance change via GST?
And like you said, I don't expect we'll encounter traffic en-route to the orphanage since we are starting quite early in the morning.
We could consider GST for the return journey, depending on the weather conditions. But then again, I may be badly mistaken in this regard. I have no approximation of the route, so if someone cares to contradict me, please feel free to do so.

Ok, from what I have noticed, in the past two days, the showers have been considerably light, ticking off only AFTER around 5 p.m. If we encounter the same weather on Saturday, we might be able to get a fair idea of what Sunday is going to be like.

                                Several things as reminders:
                                1. We have still not decided the rendezvous points for the riders. I expect we'll need to have 2 points, one somewhere compact inside the city. And the other one could possibly be near the Toll Gate on ECR, considering riders who are coming from Velachery. I myself shall be one such rider.

                                2. In case we are riding in formation like ELD planned, we still haven't decided who the pilot and the sweeper will be.

                                3. I don't see anyone else who has volunteered to host ELD or Wonderboy. I can have a rider tag along with me. (If old clothes can be a part of that contribution, then I'll be bringing along the clothes with me. Just in case people need to know.)

Er, I hope I wasn't too bossy with the reminders on that aspect.
