For the time being, here is Chaturvedi ji with his supposedly bullet proof vest:

the vest actually is a chest and back protector provided by Crimson Moto Gear.

with popular demand; here are few pics and writeup from my side.....

It was 6:20 in the morning and i was still working in office. saw my watch and realised that i'm late for the initial meeting point at V3S red lights where i had to meet Kunjal, his cousin, Bandhav and hey dude sorry don't remember your id.
It was already 7:20 at the red lights witing for each other and then seek and hide game between Kunjal and his cousin.
So finally we started at 7:20 and i reminded everyone that i need to fill up my tank as i was already on reserve. But once we started there was no stopping. Got to xbhp area real fast but then our dumb heads forgot the way to lane and we kept on riding in and around the area for good 15-20 minutes(I guess so)

Finally we were at lane after a Autoriksha wala told us the way(he could not understand where J&M college was but Kunjal asked for girls college and got the quick reply )

Saw many riders were already present and chit chatting. I felt like late comer in the class though.

then after mutual consideration we started from lane @ 8.
As i was supposed to get fuel from my bike, i stopped at the neareset bunker with other three biker buddies. and rest of the group zoomed away. And the biggest joke was that none of us was aware of the McD's location. But anyhow we decided to proceed and wished to catch up some slow moving soul. But to our suprise everyone was waiting for us few KM's down the road.

Started again and then it was a fun filled ride all the way to McD. I loved the way everyone was riding. they were looking around, giving passes and the group formation. Being a N.O.W biker as well formation comes naturally to me.

Reached Mc.D at around 9 and saw few people staring at us with surprise, horror and joy.

As soon as we saw the parking lot, saw the three beasts waiting for company.
        Clicked few pics there

after clicking few pics went inside to see all our front line soldiers resting their souls. within seconds met Sunny, RESPECTED OLD FOX and Manan. you all looked completly fresh. no one could say that you guys are coming from a ride.

          Part 2

after selecting our seats we asked sunny to show us the pics.

And then he with his spanking new looks (which looked good and kewl on him) prepared his lappy for the slideshow

then started all the commentry, stories and jokes. Realised that we need to eat something as well. So all the poor hungry people rushed to get their orders done and fill their tummies.

came out and again clicked few more pics and this time tried my photography on FZ16 as well.

          Me on FZ16

And then it was around 11 and it was time to leave....

Part 3: The Grand Return :-)

So we all gathered again and started back to Delhi

Soon both R1's and R15 zoomed away and we were left behind, Some (including me) dared to cope up with beasts and kept on riding past 100kmph most of the time. saw my bike touching 120 in ages.

And most of the people were left far behind.

Then we stoped at at petrol pump as the beasts were thursty for some fuel. in the mean while LP, Saaki etc reached the point. we started off again and then took our own respective routes soon after.

took the final turn and went back office as some of my work was still pending.

To conclude i must say this was the kind of g2g i crave for. and it felt great to be a part of the g2g.
Hope we all meet up soon.

And sorry guys as i don't remember the names or id's of most of you but i remember you all by faces.
And hey dude who came with his GF; did't get to intract with you this time but hope we meet again in future. and probably i will also get the frd along with me.

                The pictures

The pictures which I clicked at the get-together today.

                Ravi bhai

L.P, keeping mum for a change.

                RX and saaki.

Born2Lead (in the foreground), with Torque_Ankur in the background.

2 nerds, one showdown - Leon and Born2Lead.

Posing 'swiftly' - Swiftrider (pic clicked by Born2Lead).

The hooligans - and their boss - RX!

The new kid on the block or perhaps, the king of the road - YAMAHA FZ16

The front, with that ugly placement of the licence plate.

                The rear.

The 'X' effect (at the xBhp lane, Chanakyapuri).

                The lids

                Mc.Donalds - the undisputed 'junk-food' king.

                The riders at Mc.D, Manesar.

The R1s waiting to unleash their power onto the tarmac

Those menacing eyes (beware if you see these on your rear-view mirror)..

The whole group, outside Manesar Mc.D, at the parking lot..

                :)

                          • my post for the G2G!

it was my 2nd G2G and I think I already know all of “US”!

People find it weird, almost insane but guess LOGIC has too less to do with PASSION!

I have been working in Ludhiana for quite some time and I was missing my NCR, haven’t been back for aprox. 2 months when the Thread G2G
                            flashed before my eyes!
it would be hitting a Lotza bird with just one stone!

So I left Ludhiana after finishing off my Saturday’s work.
It was a quick PACK-&-Move thing. after setting the trip meter to 0.0kms at 16.08 hrs, I was on Amritsar-Delhi Highway!

and I was in Delhi, MADHUBAN Chowk by 22.04 hrs.(Duh! Big Deal???, people would take just 5 hrs to cover 350 kms.) where Desi was waiting for me on HIS 1977 Bullet.( though am Not an Ardent Bullet Fan but desi’s desi magic made me think twice about buy a bullet as a 2nd bike)

And after the usual HI-Hello, we proceeded to desi’s Home; picked his Baggage and I dropped him at ISBT. (Desi had to go to Ludhiana for some Family emergency!)

It was around midnight and I rode to Faridabad from ISBT.

I reached my destination at around 1.30am and after unpacking, I was about to hit the sack when DHISHUMMMMMMM, light chali gayi.
Now, imagine a room that has been opened after 2 odd months, with No fan working (courtesy BIJILI BOARD!) and Power packed Mosquitoes trying to suck the last possible Drop out of your Already Starved-malnutrition-affected Body! J That was the condition that was faced by Yours Truly!
In a nut-shell, I had a tough time to get some sleep, and by the time I could, my dear Mobile Watch/clock said its time for me to get up and push off to XBHP lane!

It was decided that I would Meet LEON_NERD on the way to Delhi, for both of us come from the same place (guess only 654 mts. distance away)
So I met Leon at around 7.20am and without exchanging many pleasantries we pushed off to Delhi, dint want to be late!

The Ride to Delhi was good, and after AIIMS, we parted our Route as I had to go pick up my Friend!

Anyways, I picked up my friend I reached the LANE only to find that people were already there! (PEOPLE?????? since when have be begun calling Bikers as PEOPLE?)

was good to meet my dear L.P aka Lappoo, Ravi(the Devil)Bhai, Aryan( no words in His praise J) I dint know the rest of the gang by that time, so….who ever is grinning his teeth or pumping his fist in the AIR….a humble sorry!)

After a quick photo shoot, we started for McD-Manesar!

I was the 1st time I was riding in a group and it was good Fun!
As always…Lappoo our Dear Stunt Man from Destination Unknown was trying his skills stunting as a pillionJ, (no serious stunts though, it was just the usual, standing on the f-rests and all!)

Quickly we were out of the crowd of D.K area and were on the Hi-way! we were still in Formation, somehow, with each one indicating His next move, giving way to the his Mates and feeling the eyes of Jealousy/ admiration of the ongoing traffic!

We gathered once again before joining the xprs-hi-way and a photo here and a photo there, we pushed off!

vvvvvvvvvrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Ravi Bhai suddenly goes WHOSH past you!
Definitely, one can just find it a bit Difficult to simply follow the 50kmph speed barrier if you are on a well Paved Road!

We were riding decent, maintaining the required and viable distance on the road.

We were just crossing the flyover near Convergys and about to Join the Hi-way back when Aryan showed us His Stunting Capabilities!

Post the 2nd toll gate on the hi-way, we again collected and then it was PUSH OFF!

It was fun riding on a Tolled xprs hi-way with pedestrians crossing the Road to buy Bananas or to go to the Natural Open-Air Fertilizer Manufacturing Area!

Somehow, cruising our Way through the inconsiderate pedestrians of Gurgaon, we reached our Destination Point…McD!

It was good to see the Castrol Bikes already there! J

We parked our respected and respective Machines and went inside to meet Sunny, Old Fox and Manan!

After a warm hand shake with all and after the regular envious looks of the other people in the joint, we started settling!

Sunny showed us the fotoz on his laptop and Ravi ji was the 1st one to go to the counter to order him something to eat! J
And we all did the same!

I was having the food with my friend when Aryan, Ravi invited us over on their table.
On the table it was good talking to Aryan, B2L and Swiftrider (hope I’ve got the names correctly) after that I went outside to click a few pics.

Well, after spending a good quality time, we came out of the joint, posed and Dispersal!

We, headed back to Delhi and then it was Manan, Sunny and Old Fox Overtaking us and off they Go! Quickly lost the visible contact with them.

Anyways, the day came to an end for some, but for some, it was the beginning of a new chapter, as in my case it was the beginning of knowing each other better.

After dropping my friend to her place, I went to Kbagh to get a set of tubeless for my ZMA. Unfortunately or fortunately enough, I did not get a decent one…I was looking for MECHILIN but was told by the shop owner that tubeless in 18” is a rare thing these days and he showed me some but were not impressive enough.
So, had to come back to Faridabad, without the Tubeless.

I rested for some time in Faridabad and then Pushed off to Ludhiana later in the evening.
Reached here today morning at around 5.30am and after a short sleep am in the office, wonderfully recollecting the amazing G2G!

INSANE, as some may Call it, Love is what I know it as!

Thank you all for making it a pleasurable one!

                            @ DESI: Missed you Buddy!

you all complement each other; it was fun riding with you.

And ALL, thanks for making it a memorable G2G.
I'd rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.
Ride often, ride well, have fun.
