    Why Ride :-

    Ride Restrictions :-

    GEAR

    Mandatory Gear
: If you do not have this, you *cannot* join for this ride

    - Helmet (Of at least ISI standards)
    - Full Pants (Of Thick material like denim. No shorts, etc)
    - Full Jacket (Preferably of thick material like Denim)
    - Shoes (No sandals,chappals etc)

Recommended Gear : Over and above the Mandatory gear, its for your own safety if you have the following

    - Armoured Riding Jacket
    - Armoured Riding Gloves
    - Knee Guards
    - Armoured Riding Boots
    Formation & Riding Rules

    - There will be 2/3 riding groups divided based on speed i.e. Moderate/Fast/Hyper
    - There will be *atleast one* Lead & Sweep rider for each group. This will be decided prior to the ride.
    - We will be riding only in Staggered/Single File formation.
    - Use of hand signals are encouraged.
    - Taking breaks in between is not recommended, it breaks the group and screws up the harmony. Please avoid as much as possible.
    - Minimize overtaking within the group
    - If this is your first time with us, please don't show us your heroics. Instead see how everyone else is riding.
    - Ensure that you have enough fuel before you start the ride. The total distance covered is approximately 150 kms. Or atleast have fuel to reach A2B.
The above listed points are not exhaustive. Fellow riders are requested to add whatever they feel necessary.

@MODS: Kindly move this thread to the Offline Meets Section

+1. Marker / pin on the map is missing.

However, I'm in for the big ride but not sure if I can make it to this one (the pre-ride).

@DJ/Aditya: Thanks for the heads up.Link Corrected! <Click!>

@Aditya: Would be good if you can take out a few hours. A lot of us haven't ridden with each other and it would really help setting up a sync for the big ride!

Wow..finally something to look forward to during the weekday...

Praful: the usual meeting meet of the ID 2009 ride and last year Tri-State ride right?

PS: Add the original motorcycle documents to the list..

Also this is an opportunity to know your group lead and sweep..do get their numbers too(always helpful on 500+ kms ride)...
Hammer the racetrack. Pace yourself on the street.
