I personally feel that this ride should be postponed to sometime next month (December). I know if this is postponed, the main agenda of this ride would not be fulfilled (World AIDS Day Ride), but then I don't think it would be fair (and safe) to ride after what has happened in Mumbai. Moreover, since security would obviously be beefed up substantially, I don't know whether such a big group ride would be allowed anymore or not.:)

Buddy, that is all Mumbaikers and the rest of India can do! I mean, the so called security and intelligent agencies fail every time, loads of innocent lives are lost every time and as for the aftermath; we all carry our lives normally, every time!Originally posted by ajinkya View Postonly one thing to do is to carry on with our daily lives to show these people that mumbai aint scared,:)

Lets wait for this mayhem to get over first. 'Ride' thing can wait.
Some Deccan Mujahidin group has sent email to India TV. They take the responsibility and want some mujahidins to be freed.
I remember, Vijay was the first person to inform about this last night.Last edited by snehmads; 11-27-2008, 10:53 AM.

some chu$%^$ deccan mujahideen has claimed responsibility for the attacks. man all these terrorists should be rounded up and flogged. Bloddy they have made a mockery of the common man.
the media unneccesarily bashes the police, when their hands are tied up by the politicians. when the '93 case happened the police was given all the neccessary rights, they whooped the gangstas a$$ and stopped all the riots. We have all the neccessary intelligence, but the beuracracy is fcukin it up...

Couldnt agree more. We need to be more selfless and mature in this scenario. personally, Even askin for a permission would like the most foolish thing to do. We can have a peace ride. Aman aaur shanti ... I will have a banner of fcuk u terrorists....Originally posted by Aryan View PostI personally feel that this ride should be postponed to sometime next month (December). man i just dont understand why the lives of the indians are so cheap?
no really cares about these incidents taking place all over india?
the govt is just sitting idle doing noting about and leaving us helpless in this chaos where the terrorist are holding guns and threatning the existence of the intregrity and the existence of the nation....
everyday new new groups are being formed in some or the other parts of india....
RAW,IB dont have anything and they cannot fight with terror whatsover,so a new intelligence network, organisation should be formed in order to tackle this terrorism issue in our country , when these Fcuking politicians will understand thatnation comes first then anything else....the politicians make everything poliyical...and fight on laws such as POTA,MACOCA, and on the other side the terrorist are slitting the throats of the innocent people..sad to see this sh** but sadly its the bitter reality we have to accept...Speak Less,Speak Wise!
Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity.

Guys!
Vijay bro, it would be great if the ride could come to fruition on Sunday as a Peace Ride.
The number of participants though is for sure gonna go down. With everyone's parents all worried, it's a bad situation. The whole purpose of the ride would be affected with lesser members.
Mika Hakkinen or the Safety Ride, going by the current events, personally my instincts say the police would have to revoke the permission cause its too much of a load to secure such an event under the current high-alert scenario.
Having said that, no date on the calendar can be guaranteed as free from terrorist attacks in this day and age. Call me pessimistic but you cannot deny the facts.
May the good Lord have mercy on us all and may peace prevail eventually.
P.S.: Clearly brings to light the lack of security on the waterways.
Take care guys.
God bless and good luck!

8)Thou shalt ride with 'ultra-most' care and caution when on Indian roads.
9)Thou shalt never leave the engine running at long traffic halts.
10)Thou shalt follow all of the above.

Yeh dats wat we actually do...Originally posted by ajinkya View Postonly one thing to do is to carry on with our daily lives to show these people that mumbai aint scared,

But things can be different if ppl sit at home fer a few days so dat police n others can do something about this, coz its almost impossible to do anything among such a huge crowd which we see on mumbai roads...

BUT NO WE WONT STOP! WE NEED TO WORK N EARN FER THE FAMILY N LET TERRORISTS ESCAPE THRU THE CROWED, KYA FARAK PADHTA HAI?????

@RIDE: Even I think dat police wont allow a Ride with a a big crowd coz of safety issues... just PRAY FER THE VICTIMS TO GET OUT SAFE...Last edited by spiderweb; 11-27-2008, 03:48 PM.
