As you all know, Xbhp has evolved from its massive on-line presence and lots of off-line action in the country's motorcycling scenario into an organization that's stepped pretty strongly into the print media. That apart, there has been lots of action on the motorcycling front over the years and a single nerve center with its dedicated core team to make all this more coherent and efficient was sorely needed. A few months ago we went 'corporate' as it can be termed. With a proper office, staff, hardware et al. This month we present to you all the fourth issue of the xBhp magazine, a direct result of there being a 'place' to plan, start, execute and dispatch' it from. Apart from the mag, most of the 'behind the scenes' admin stuff for the forums also happens from here.
So it is only fitting that we finally have a meet at 'our' office. I, on behalf of Sunny and xbhp magazine's core team, invite you all for a G2G at the xBhp.com office on this coming Sunday, the 10th of April 2011. Meet up at the dhaba at 7:30 AM and we can ride over to the office as a group. The idea is to share the what, the how and the why's of xBhp's administrative workings. And also to get together and share ideas on making this huge countrywide brotherhood even bigger and better. Spending a couple of hours at the office will also give you a fair idea of the 'vital but not so visible' role being played by the people working from there. So do come prepared with suggestions, inputs, ideas and even 'demands' that shall help add to the esteem, presence and longevity of this monumental brotherhood of biking.
We shall all be looking forward to this G2G being another of those 'record-breaking attendance' ones as it used to be not so long ago in Delhi.
The rules for the ride from the Dhaba to the Xbhp office remain as they have always been.
- ATGATT (helmet, gloves, shoes, jacket and knee protection) for the rider and at the very least a helmet, long sleeve shirt, full length trousers and shoes for the pillion.
- Bike papers in order (DL, RC, PUC and Insurance - all valid of course)
- Riding with respect for the law and other road users and actions that exude a strong bond of shared passion for motorcycling.
- Remember - while on the road YOU are the face of xBhp.
