m game for this lets start at the earliest possible on Sunday morning Ashish would also be here on Saturday and i will put this on Jeypore Bike Riders.

Gentlemen....my brother is getting a HD Superlow, one of his friends has got it and is not happy about it and has gone for a Ducati Diavel, no way my brother is inclined to bikes, but he has enough silver with him to just spend and get a macho in his garage.

Envy him , but still am happy that somebody in my family is getting a SBK. I will get to ride when I go to Coimbatore.

Am still breaking my head with choosing something between my 535 or a modern day RE. Let me see how it works out....cant put this on FB as he would see it....

Cast irons have their charm no doubt..but you cannot really ride them far and beyond without issues..your mind would be gripped with that constant fear that something might go wrong...but there are people who enjoy this feeling of uncertainty, I don't. A modern day RE is at least 1000 times reliable compared to Iron casts. Though minor issues keep on nagging but nothing major which would stall you in the middle of the road.
For me Iron casts are for shorter day rides up to 200 kms. and Modern RE for anything beyond.

hmmm....unless and until if you are a DIY kind of & also no time constraint person then CI are good at, if any of these are not then looking at a modern day bike is the best solution.

Am also thinking the other way now...as such my bro is no way interested in bikes, just he is going to get it for the sake of it...what happens if he is really not interested and says "you use it" ...how would that be. Thats a great option right ...imagining all sort of smilies and birds around my head now.. will keep dreaming

DJ - I just got a call from RE Showroom, they were asking me if am in for a ride to Alwar...I have confirmed yes...

Is that the same ride which you are speaking about.

Both are actually in two different directions..Taal chaaper is towards Bikaner and Alwar towards Delhi!
I have also conformed for the Alwar ride as this was my prior commitment
