And guys, when are you dropping down south to Ajmer? You didn't ride the taragarh road right? And the Foysagar area? And I have a road in mind for some lean angles too (something I miss always)...

New to Jaipur

Hi Guys

Am Ramesh Madhavan, have just moved to Jaipur from Chennai, am 37yrs old, working with a telecom. Am an ardent fan of anything with wheels (especially 2 wheels)...Have been on Xbhp for more than 3yrs+ and I own a Royal Enfield Lightning 535 / RX 100 / Yezdi CL2 / RD350 (Only my 535 & RX 100 are here and rest are at my hometown Coimbatore). Am interested in touring, havent found time till now after coming to Jaipur...the challenge is also that I dont know Hindi...would like to meet up with you guys if there is a regular meeting happening.

Checked into hotel about 2:30 PM; you were right, it didn't take 12 hours. Started at 5:05 from Jaisalmer; Pokaran 6:00 AM; Bikaner 8:45 AM; Jaipur outskirts 1:15 PM.

But this city has set a clear expectation...horror !!! So far in my visit, this is the only city where I see a highly indisciplined traffic. I'm really sorry to say, but this is what I observed. People just jump here & there though there're wide good roads; the signal is completely invisible to most people; I saw a freaking incident where a M800 would've crashed to an Auto & both the parties went their way without a word

This is the first time I'm getting scared to ride!!! Too many incidents in the last 30 Kms ride from outskirts to inside the city; if I were to get out of this city safe with my ride, I need to offer prayers to God

Ganesh...you are right....first 1 month after moving to Jaipur, i was looking like a newbie who has just learnt how to ride/drive
now i have understood how to manage here....

Its a rider deprived city..so very few people to ride with, so we don't have planned meetings but we try to meet regularly..will plan a meetup soon

Welcome to Jaipur Sarvesh..no plans as of now. There are lot of option for stay, please share your budget and preferred locality..near walled city or some place quiet..

@Ramesh:: Royal Enfield is planning a 'One Ride' on 1st of April..interested?
