How about a ride plan in May when every biker thinks about doing a Tan Ride in summers in Rajasthan

Guys, I will be riding to Jaipur from Pune on 7th morning along with a fellow Ninja owner.

Any special eateries we shouldn't miss?

I intend to stay either at Jaipur club or Jai club. Which one is better? Jaipur club costs 800 bucks more than Jai club so asking.

May definitely sounds good! I also have an itch of doing ride in summers..although I guess it would be sort on an endurance ride

Jaipur club is definitely better in terms of service...you can expect a personalised touch..regulars of this place include IAS, IPS officers, MLA's, Ministers and businessmen.
Visit Sharma Dhaba or Khandelwal dhaba at Sikar road Vidhydhar nagar for veg food prepared in ghee!!
Handi at MI road for lip smacking non veg food
LMB for its lavish thali
Chokhi Dhani for its Rajasthani food and experience

We have cancelled staying at any club and would be staying at a cheaper option inside city. We will be coming from Pushkar, staying the night in Jaipur and then leaving for Jaisalmer next day.

Can you suggest a good decent hotel costing around 1200 for A/c. room?

i usually commute either with my RX100 or my Lightning 535...both are TN registered

TN09 U9236 is my Lightning Number
TN22 Y6643 is my RX 100 Number

Where would you prefer to stay, inside the walled city with all the hustle bustle or somewhere quiet with ease of access.

No particular preference other than secured parking space for our Ninjas.

We would reach around 10 am, check in, do some sight seeing and leave for Jaisalmer next day morning. So we just need a decent place to sleep.

Unfortunately most of the hotels in that budget would have an open parking... this is one hotel which I know, decent, open parking but have got a watchman 24x7, I can bargain with him and bring him down to Rs 1500

@deejay - had been a member of royal enfield clubs where ever I had been...is there a club here which is active....i had just registered a group for royal enfield in yahoo

Royal Thumpers of Rajasthan Motorcycle Club (RTRMC) check out if possible...if any other active RE clubs are there then I can also join them...i can do trips after May 10th as my family would be going back to south for 2 months vacation, i usually do my rides during this period even when I was in Chennai.

None of these has a website I believe except for Saahas...

Saahas is more of a organised organisation and not just a club...

lets see if creating a new club would work out which would more be offline
