    Bhangarh Ride

After a long and patient wait for a year, I finally managed to ride.

Destination: Bhangarh, one of the scariest places. We had heard a lot about Bhangarh , specially the creepiness and how the place is silent to an uncomfortable level. I always like to visit places which are distant to humanity and closest to nature. It sounded perfect for me.

I have been planning this ride for last three weeks and for some reason or the other it kept on getting postponed. In the meanwhile I met Ram and it was decided that we would be riding on Sunday July 17th.

    The Original Plan:
Leave at 06:00 AM, reach Bhangarh by 8, hangout there for a while and return by 2:00 PM.
I had a fair idea of which route to take and short distance. Never bothered much as it was a short ride and I had my GPS enabled phone and of course our old and reliable The Riders:Ghosts of Bhangarh, stopping us.

Some poser pics while we were waiting...

    Curious bystanders

Finally Mr. Zakir showed up again, changed the engine oil and filter and we were ready to roll again at around 3.

After an hour long ride through heavy city traffic and dug up roads we were finally greeted by a fantastic four lane, straight, deserted highway. This is definitely a Saddle sore material and we were both happy to open up the throttle.

We reached Dausa in a blink of an eye, we had to take a left from here and as usual I missed it again.
Took a break to confirm, I checked my GPS and rerouted the journey ahead. From now on we had to leave the expressway and drive through villages. I was skeptical about the road conditions but it turned out to be well laid tarmac and we could easily maintain speeds of 80-90 kmph.
Checked my GPS, at about 12 kms ahead we had to leave the road we were on and take a left. Kept on riding, looking for a left turn, could not find any. Checked the odo and we were already 13kms from the last point. We decided to take the help of the reliable We entered the village and soon realized that we were in a middle of a crowded market, no roads and the people staring at us. Invariably I was reminded of the song Bhag bhag D K BOSE D K BOSE bhag, Andhi aayi andhi ayi bhag bhag D K BOSE BHAG . Checked up with the and they guided us to a different route, skeptical we checked up with another local one more route came up..WTF*
By now I had renamed L GIS to Localites Giving Intentional S***.
After few more stops and inquiries we were on the right route. Our F***** up L GIS

Seriously man...these stories were the only reason that i decided to pay a visit!! I too have read about the green dog in the trip log of Sherry, tried to inquire about the same from the watchman and he was like 'Sahab kyun majak karte ho, kutte bhi kabhi hare hote hain..'

                      Guys,
Today was my first Xbhp G2G so understandably, I was a bit nervous. Woke up early. Reached the bypass beginning, (Ashok Udhyan) quite early, no one was there. I checked the time, which was around 9 AM just as planned.
                      This was a pic I cl!cked there:

Then, on the highway, I saw a Ninja 250R going the bypass way. I guessed it might be Deejay. I called Deejay on mobile and it was confirmed. I went after them. We met, had handshakes and all, and then went to Narelli together.

It was a nice trip to Narelli. A peaceful place between the hills. We had some plans for practicing leaning and all, but the road was in dusty condition, unlike last time when I had a good chance to lean a bit. I rode the P180 of Deejay though, which was well maintained, and in better condition than my bike.

Weather was a mixup of sunny and cloudy, but it was pleasant. We had chats about bikes, counter-steering, tv adverts, etc. We cl!cked these pics:

                      Red Pulsar 180 UG3: Samarth 619
                      Silver Pulsar 180 UG3: Deejay
                      Green Ninja 250R: Ram

This is me in the visor mirror:

This is Ram bro, beside his Ninja:

This is Digvijay, or Deejay bro:

This pic shows us the 10 temples of Narelli:

White Vega is mine, Blue Vega is Deejay's, and Cross belongs to Ram:

This is my Ajmer's friend, Ankit Sharma, he's in Xbhp too. His plan was all messed up. He came late for the G2G, and he went 10 minutes after itself:

After visiting Narelli, we all went to my home for some talk, snacks and rest. My dad was really happy on meeting all of them, and started talking to Ram bro about common interest topics like Army, Biking, etc.
Unfortunately, my dad being an avid historian, traveler and information seeker, started asking a lot of questions, while we should have rested a bit... Apologies Ram bro.

My home's pics, unfortunately Ram bro's Ninja caught some serious cow dung on the way:

                      In shorts, its my dad:

I apologize for inadequate food arrangements, as we didn't have a lady at home to prepare proper food. We could see only one place- because Ajmer has one tourist spot in each corner of the city and it took time to travel. And they were late for their back trip to Jaipur.

When I've posting this, both of them are on their way back to Jaipur...
Would love to see their pics too...

It was very nice to meet both Digvijay (DJ) and Ram. Both are very humble and passionate bikers, no doubt. Thank you guys. It was a nice break from the everyday life, and I loved meeting you both. Looking forward to more such G2G's.
You can choose more destinations and I'm always ready. And if possible, I'll come to Jaipur too, specially once the Pbk starts taking booking and giving test rides of 650R.

                        More pics:

Some of my own pics, on my Pulsar and Ram bro's Ninja:

Now after the G2G, everytime I see a Karizma ZMR, I'm reminded of one question only, "Have I made it large?"

If you're thinking about Ajmer (130 kms from Jaipur), then I can help you for any sort of trips/ accomodation/ etc.

For Jaipur, Deejay and Ram bro might help. I suggest you PM them...
